La Terrazza Scopello In Castellammare del golfo

14/07/2024: Miglior chiusura di un soggiorno in Sicilia non poteva accadere, siamo stati a pranzo, tutto perfetto, dal cameriere a tutte le pietanze, tutto eccezionale, caponata ottima, primi paradisiaci, dolci non di meno, sei ad Erice devi mangiare in questa location, altrimenti ti perdi una meraviglia sicula.

25/06/2024: Whilst the setting is absolutely stunning with great views and a lovely outside al-fresco area, unfortunately the evening menu and service was a bit of a let down for us. Whilst the staff were friendly and lovely, the food wasn’t great and we didn’t get attended to very much - for example, every table was given bread and olive oil on the table when they arrived, but this was missed on our table and before we had chance to request, the main meals arrived. Unfortunately there weren’t a great deal of vegetarian options on the menu, with only caponata as a starter and two pasta dishes as main. The pasta was cooked well but the sauce was incredibly overpoweringly garlicy. I adore garlic but this was a lot! We felt the restaurant was authentic and that there is certainly love and care in the establishment, and we really really wanted to love the restaurant more than we did (especially as the hotel was beautiful), but unfortunately we felt a bit disappointed at the end of our meal.
