This place was beautiful! You can’t see an overview of the entire city but it’s a rooftop that has a cute view of some rooftops and at sunset is so beautiful. We had the pizza and cheeseboard with some wine - all the food was very good, a bit more on the pricey side but you’re paying for the environment

Incredible dinner, Rome at your feet, Caput mundi

It was a truly memorable dining experience—exquisite food paired with a breathtaking panorama of Rome, though on the pricier side, it deservedly offers a taste of luxury nestled within the ancient city.

Amazing views of Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore and the city from the rooftop terrace! Simply beautiful views. Cocktails strong and unique. Do not stay for dinner..paid $18 dollars for sliced marinated beets without anything else on the plate. Cocktail waiter fantastic, dinner service waiter had a very bad attitude on May 27th at 730pm.

A truly romantic place with a breathtaking view, perfect for an unforgettable dinner. The waiters were kind and very helpful, and the food was delicious!!! Highly recommended!

The experience I had at La Terrazza dei Papi is something I will remember for a long time. From the moment I went up to the terrace of the Mecenate Palace Hotel, at Via Carlo Alberto 3, I felt like I had climbed… high, above Rome, with my gaze stretching out over the houses, the domes, the illuminated monuments of the Eternal City. The atmosphere was enchanting: the sunset light played on the ancient tiles and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the sounds of the city were low; and the staff, kind, attentive, with attention to detail. When I left, I felt like I had escaped a little from the routine, that I had experienced something authentic: views everywhere, warm service, and that feeling of being in a place that celebrates the moment. I would highly recommend it for a special occasion and I am already thinking of going back.

An unexpected bonus on the website (you can see it in the photo) turned out to be the perfect excuse to go out for a nice meal. Ended up having a wonderful evening — great food, beautiful presentation, and perfect mood.

A very beautiful restaurant with a stunning view. We had dinner there. The food was delicious, the seafood was fresh, the oysters were full of flavor, and I ordered the rack of lamb for the main course. The meat was also delicious, and the staff was friendly. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday on October 5th. I specifically mentioned this when booking. In fact, they didn't congratulate us specifically, even though they brought out a cake with a candle for others that same evening. It was disappointing. Otherwise, everything was fine – the food was delicious, the view was beautiful.
