It's delightful to go there at sunset. The tables set against the balustrade (seating a maximum of two or three) offer a magnificent view of the sea with the city of Trieste in the distance. Breathe in the sea air mixed with the scent of the tall trees growing on this shady terrace. The atmosphere is delightful, with an open kitchen. The young staff serving are friendly, but they're usually a bit rushed given the amount of work they do. The menu is predominantly seafood, with generous portions, decent house wine, and delicious homemade desserts. Of course, you need to book to ensure a seat.
We'll definitely be back...

Lunch with my wife, enviable location, special appetizers paired with citrus sauces, rich and tasty seafood spaghetti such as the grilled octopus with stracciatella and avocado and the grilled calamari, service with some very small inaccuracies but overall the five stars are all there.

Very nice restaurant with average prices. The primi are generous. House wine is reasonably priced. A few steps from Miramare Castle. Exceptional view of Trieste.

One of the best seafood restaurants in the world! We dined here three times this week. We thus tried many items from the menu. Every single item was perfect! The salt crusted trout was one of a kind, no one can match the way it is served here. The fish melted in the mouth. So delicious! All the people working here, including chefs and waiters, are polite, smiling, happy and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all of you!

Beautiful place, very good food, friendly service. However, we had to wait a whole hour for the food to arrive. And the side dish took another 15 minutes.

Nel contesto di una pasquetta trascorsa in città, la scelta di fermarsi qui a mangiare è stata una bellissima alternativa locale. Cibo buonissimo e cordialità del personale, prezzi in linea con location e qualità del cibo.
