With so many restaurants in Florence, it's hard to make a decision on where to eat. The food is pretty much going to be good wherever you go, that is why you need to think about the other factors. I didn't realize that until tonight when we dined at “La Tenda Rossa”.
I felt like a part of the family as Ray and Simone introduced us to Italian customs, liquor and the proper way to roll a cigarette. We went for a quick dinner and three hours later left with new friends.
They have the best lasagna I've had since middle school and after the owner explained how he makes his tiramisu, I knew it would be amazing, I was right. Our evening at this restaurant is one of my favorite moments in Florence.
