I almost never give first impression reviews, generally I prefer to visit the place over and over again before being able to give a complete judgement, but this time just one visit was enough for me to decide that I would never set foot there again. I came here with my mother, around 3pm a few weeks ago, just to have a coffee. I am immediately warned that the prices, even for a latte, are not modest and we decide to only have a latte each and a small pastry. And I must say that, although the prices were not modest, the pastries were good and the coffee wasn't bad. However, it was precisely the service that gave me a truly negative impression: as soon as we arrived, the barmaids were engaged in conversation with other customers and, although they noticed our presence, they didn't take us into account and calmly continued their frivolous chatter. Once we finally managed to place the order that we had chosen, the barista made us the coffee and this is where I decided to give a rating of 1: the barista slammed the coffees on the saucer and, without telling me a word about the two coffees ( for example: “a lei” or “i due macchiati”), he totally ignored me and continued talking about the JUVENTUS match with a customer, commenting on how “unpleasant” a match it was. A little customer care wouldn't be missing...

I usually go there for breakfast, in this historic bar and I have always had a great time both for the quality of the desserts and coffee and the friendliness of the staff and today I had the opportunity to try it as an aperitif and I had confirmation of what a excellent bar, I pay special compliments to the guy who prepared an excellent non-alcoholic mojito for me. It also provides tobacconist service.
