After visiting the Torrechiara Castle. My wife and I ate the best Tortelli di Zucca in all of Emilia Romagna. What can I say ... I have tried many first courses, but I must say that I will remember this one forever. Well done and congratulations.

Suggestive Liohlgo at the foot of the Castle, the very small village has a small square with a rest area and catering area with DOP and DOC products, better to reserve space and limited location...

The times on the internet say 10am-11pm, but at 4.40pm the bar was already closing.

Some time ago we stopped at this facility to have breakfast in the late morning, before proceeding with the visit to Torrechiara castle 🏰. Arriving on site shortly after 11.00 🕚, we parked in the immediate vicinity, immediately taking us towards the main entrance. Here we met the manager 👩🏻 who welcomed us very courteously and asked us what we preferred; we opted for an empty croissant 🥐 and a cake 🍪, as well as a coffee ☕ and a cappuccino. We then sat down at an outdoor table (nice view 👁 of the little square) enjoying everything pleasantly. The furnishings of the place are pleasant and refined, although "sui generis", given that the impression is of being somewhere between a bistro and a tourist promotion centre. Services 🚾🚽 in order 🧻🧴 and honest prices. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT 👍.

The restaurant, for those who want it after the guided tour of the castle, can be reached on foot, 10 minutes from the castle, it has an agreement with the structure that operates the guided tour(s); therefore the table is guaranteed otherwise it is better to book. The dishes offered are of excellent quality, appetizer of local cured meats, ravioli with herbs and are truly exquisite. The wine is genuine and untreated, the residue settles at the bottom of the glass... The desserts are also local. The price is proportionate to the products served. Ready, helpful staff... Worth coming back if you are in the area, even without visiting the castle.
