La Tavola del Contado In Langhirano

Went on Sunday morning with the purchase of a package that included a guide, entrance to the castle, and a tasting at the restaurant. Everything was fine. The castle was beautiful, the guide explained its history to us, and Mrs. Agata made us eat very well at the Tavola del Contado, at very good prices. Highly recommended.

There's room for improvement, but the location plays a key role. Recommended.

A very pleasant lunch in a beautiful square.

Some time ago we stopped at this establishment for a late breakfast before continuing with our visit to Torrechiara Castle 🏰. Arriving shortly after 11:00 🕚, we parked nearby and headed straight to the main entrance. Here we met the manager 👩🏻 who welcomed us very kindly, asking us what we would like; we opted for a plain brioche 🥐 and a sweet 🍪, as well as a coffee ☕ and a cappuccino. We then sat at an outdoor table (the view 👁 of the little square was beautiful) and enjoyed everything pleasantly. The decor of the establishment is pleasant and well-kept, albeit "sui generis", given that it feels like a cross between a bistro and a tourist promotion center. The services 🚾🚽 are tidy 🧻🧴 and the prices are fair. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT 👍. Aperitif with excellent local cured meats and cheeses accompanied by a good glass of Malvasia in the pretty little square. Also available are good homemade desserts.
