La Tavernetta In Ovada

A beautiful farm turismo in the quiet Camino. The surroundings are beautiful, but not suitable for people who like a bit of liveliness. Go there especially for peace. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fine but do not expect over the top luxury. Our room was very small, like a small attic room, but very cozy and clean. The bed slept well. The swimming pool was lovely and there is always the possibility to eat or drink something at the bar, so that you do not have to go looking in the afternoon (which is sometimes the case in these quiet surroundings).

Very nice farmhouse suitable for everyone, even those with children. The rooms are rustic and very welcoming. The spa is fantastic. The food is excellent and I won't say anything about the wines. The friendly staff is very helpful. A flaw for some is perhaps that there is not much coverage for cell phones, often you remain isolated. However, the atmosphere is one of pure relaxation.

We wanted a simple evening as a couple in complete tranquility... It became a special evening! As soon as we arrived we appreciated the free tasting of wines of our own production, excellent quality (we stocked our cellar with a bottle). Immediately after we moved on to our dinner, everything delicious and accompanied by good wine! We will definitely return to enjoy the other services of the structure (Spa and wellness paths, swimming pool, rooms...) Only constructive criticism... The breadstick base of the cheesecake appetizer could perhaps be coarser grained, I found it a bit too crumbly. Meat and robiola instead delicious!

I stayed at this place between April 14th and 17th.On a business trip to the area. The place is amazing, absolutely positive, and genuine, and this feeling also extends to the people who work there. The included breakfast was fabulous, so was the espresso !!!. I hope to visit this place again with my family.

We stayed at this property for a weekend to celebrate a hen party and we were 5 girls. Very nice location and friendly staff. The sixth girl who was supposed to stay with us canceled the night before for health reasons and the facility was very understanding, granting her a full refund. However, we would like to make some constructive criticism. That weekend there were 4 groups of hen parties, and the structure proved to be somewhat unprepared in managing the guests. There was a clear shortage of staff, at 8pm on Saturday we were denied an aperitif by the receptionists because there was no one in the bar as all the employees were in the restaurant on the upper floor to manage dinners, when at check in we had been told that we could go to dinner by 9pm. At 8pm there were about ten of us who would like an aperitif, clearly paying for it, but which we were denied due to the above. Money that the facility clearly lost, considering that we were also invited to go to dinner at 8pm, as if we were in a hurry to finish the shift. What is a little more serious is that at 11pm on Saturday evening the bar and reception closed, not offering the possibility for at least 30 people to consume, leaving some of these people at the tables outside, turning off the power in some points, and once again losing more money that they could have earned. I can understand that it is a structure where there are people who want to relax, but if among the guests there are also several large groups, equally paying, with the aim of having fun, I think that flexibility is also needed in this sense. Furthermore, I find it absurd that in a wine resort there are no corkscrews inside the apartments! Having said this, I recommend this structure perhaps to couples or families, but certainly not to groups of friends.

We had the pleasure of enjoying a couple's experience thanks to a voucher given to us. We didn't stay overnight, but we enjoyed the spa, lunch inside their restaurant and wine tasting at La Cantina. The location is located in the midst of greenery and hills, the structure is characteristic and welcoming and the spa is quiet and relaxing, there are several tubs and rooms arranged on several floors and the option of baths in wine or cocoa is also offered. The dishes on the menu are among the best we have ever tasted (there are also gluten-free options) and we were very satisfied. Finally, we particularly enjoyed the tasting, immersed with a guide in the history of the place and the owner and the explanations of the wines through a sensorial analysis to evaluate their characteristics through the observation of color, aroma and taste. 5 stars all deserved!

I received a birthday present from 5 friends, a stay in a hotel, we had a great time. Wonderful location 💕 Helpful staff, wonderful rooms, beautiful spa, excellent food.

Perfect for a little getaway; the staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating. This is our second time here and we absolutely love it. The rooms are lovingly decorated with typical Italian charm. The wines and food are delicious. We'd love to come back again.

A truly enchanting place and probably becomes a fairy tale in the warm season. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with a modern shower and bathroom and exposed beams in the room. The bed is a bit so-so but that is subjective. We enjoyed both dinner (spectacular) and breakfast (normal) and the SPA (super pleasant and relaxing). We hope to return and enjoy a glass of wine in the sun with a view of the hills :)

Magnificent place, incredible zero-mile products, exquisite wine but the real icing on the cake was Mrs. Roberta, a genuine person with TRUE values, thank you Roberta, you managed to move us, we wish you and the facility the best!
