We really liked this restaurant! A beautiful vaulted room, pleasant service and above all tasty cuisine with a touch of originality. Everything was excellent, we had a dish and shared antipasti and dessert: the Piedmontese vitello tonnato, the gorgonzola gnocchi with wine pear sauce, the spaghetti carbonara with amberjack and finally the strawberry panna cotta. The quantities are not gargantuan but it allows you to taste several dishes and we came away having eaten well. Well done to the chef!

Very welcoming, ancient, clean place, has an outdoor terrace, the toilets are a little uncomfortable. Sufficient wine list. Good, home-style food. Excellent desserts. Excellent entry. Courteous and professional service.

Wonderful Italian restaurant, but if you want to eat pizza, this is the wrong place! It's simply a very good Italian restaurant in Verbania/Intra with great service - we'll be back - grazie

Excellent location located in the centre. Excellent food and friendly, helpful service. The wine list is also excellent. The off-menu plins were exceptional. Really compliments.

Very nice and welcoming place (nice location of the bathroom, also very clean). Satisfied with the quality of the food and the cooking of the dishes (excellent seared tuna and spaghetti with anchovies, burrata and lemon cooked perfectly al dente). Courteous staff, honest bill (our 2 and a half year old daughter did not pay the cover charge, which has never happened in other restaurants in the area). When we return to Verbania we will know where to go.

Ottimi primi, buoni antipasti, buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Solo un suggerimento, piuttosto che 24 minuscoli antipasti, a mio avviso ne basterebbero 12, o anche meno, con porzioni più abbondanti...Da considera questo mia valutazione come una seconda alternativa agli antipasti nel menù. Comunque tutto buono..., cortesia, servizio....

18/05/2025: We went to Uncle Giacomo's last night with a group of 17 people without a reservation, because on Saturdays they don't accept reservations, it was very full. Despite this, the head waiter managed everything perfectly. Very helpful, kind, even though on Saturdays seating 17 people on the same table is quite a challenge. We were very happy with her cordiality, kindness and friendliness. Furthermore, once seated while they were nibbling on some delicious chips, the pizzas arrived all together. What can I say... impeccable organization, delicious food and welcoming and smiling staff. Uncle Giacomo, what can I say, you deserve your compliments 👏👏👏👏💪💪💪😘

24/04/2025: Excellent barbecue place located in the center of Martina Franca. I appreciated the variety but without excess in the choice of cuts and bowler hats (I prefer it, rather than sometimes inventing strange combinations!). Perfect bombettes, in size and cooking. Excellent paws. Only note, but reading the reviews I think it's common, the size of the place, although the mezzanine room is characteristic, is a little small which makes the place perfect for an evening without much confusion obviously. About the meat and cooking, nothing to complain about. Everything is excellent. Well done.
24/04/2025: Very very good place. We had a table reserved for 9.45pm and we ordered everything straight away. We took 5/6 bombette, a sausage, a portion of rags, a slice of capocollo (each) and potatoes to share. With water and cover charge we paid €25.00 each. Super honest. The only negative note is that we were not informed that the kitchen would close at some point because we would have gladly ordered something else to put in the center. We would have liked to know in advance so we could order a few more bowler hats and a tagliatelle to share. For the rest, highly recommended.
