Very good food in this out of the way taverna with very helpful, smiley and charming staff. I had the steak, pork morcels and French fries. It comes on 2 large skewers on a vertical stand. So much meat. It was €36 which may sound expensive but it was enough for 2 and the beef was cooked to absolute perfection. The ricotta with figs starter and pasta main course are also recommended. The red wine ordered by the glass (€8) was delicious

Excellent cuisine, but not excellent, therefore 4 stars not 5, also given the prices, which are certainly not modest. The menu has 4 or 5 courses for each type (starters, first courses, etc.). Portions not abundant, but satisfying. The caciocavallo podolico is very good. Delicious cruschi peppers, at a fairly salty price... We also tried, orecchiette, strips of podolica, a typical dish. I couldn't find a steak or fillet on the menu, but maybe it was my fault, the cod was very inviting, but the portion seemed too "tasty" so I gave up. Antonio's dish basically potatoes, sausage and egg, very good, not unforgettable. The wine list is excellent. The bitterness produced is very good (very similar to fennel). Exquisite staff, extreme kindness. It should be tried, it doesn't disappoint! but not an unforgettable culinary experience, at least in my opinion and that of the diners. Taking a shared appetizer, wine and a dish each, it is around 40 generous. Not a little... for me a 4 star experience. Would I go back? I don't know, but you can try without disappointment! Then everything is subjective...

The location is characteristic but the first course taken was not very tasty, very salty and not very abundant at a cost of 18 euros, the second course the aubergine parmigiana was frozen and reheated, not very abundant in quantities at 14 euros

Imagine a summer evening in an alley in the center of Maratea, breeze, lights, excellent food and good wine. I've been to this place for dinner twice, the first time as an appetizer I tasted fried courgette flowers on Podolico caciocavallo cream and parmigiana aubergines, the second time I couldn't resist the platter of local cheeses, among others fresh ricotta, moliterno , podolic. As first courses, the first time some touching ravioli filled with ricotta and cinnamon with an exceptional spicy ragu of "pezzente" sausage; the second time cavatelli with anchovy sauce, wild fennel and breadcrumbs, a poor dish par excellence executed to perfection, tasty but delicate at the same time. The sorbet with the local Crithmum liqueur made with local sea fennel is delicious. Good selection of especially local wines. I will come back every time!

In visita a Maratea, per la cena ci siamo fatti guidare dalle recensioni di Tripadvisor. Il locale si trova in uno dei vicoli della del borgo, molto caratteristico. La sala, in realtà, è il vicolo stesso con tavolini. Il menù con un numero di portate congruo è ben strutturato. La qualità è buona, con prezzi un po' sbilanciati verso l'alto.
