Dinner with friends, excellent product quality, equally high-quality cuisine and presentation. The downside is the small portion sizes for both starters and main courses, as well as desserts. You could count the gnocchi at first glance, the meat cuts were thin strips, the side dishes are small portions, such as the spinach, you could count the leaves. The wine by the glass was in short supply and at a truly excessive price given the very average quality. The desserts were also small portions with customization of the preparation that has nothing to do with the original, such as tiramisu. Let's say it's a classic tourist restaurant but has little to do with real Tuscan or Italian cuisine. The older waiter was very good and professional.

We had an unforgettable lunch at Osteria La Taverna di San Giuseppe. The cannelloni with veal and truffle was exceptional, rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We also had the carbonara, which was equally impressive, creamy, perfectly balanced, and deeply satisfying. The setting is cozy and full of charm, and the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. A perfect spot for a memorable meal in Siena — definitely worth a reservation!

A very nice restaurant with good food. We had the first time slot and had plenty of time to eat. The food and drinks arrived very quickly. The pasta ragu is definitely recommended, as is the pear dessert. The staff was friendly.

We ate pecorino souffle with pear, tagliata with truffle and cinghiale al latte.
The first and the latest were just amazing, dishes with flavours and textures very different from the ones i usually have.
The tagliata was disappointing, don't get me wrong, it was also good but since it was the most requested dish and also the most expensive i was expecting more from it. I also enjoy my meat rare, and since the plate was really hot, the meat continues cooking in it which i didn't quite understood the point.
Overall, an excellent dinner with high quality ingredients and good food prep.

I had the chance to visit twice – this year and theee years ago – and unfortunately, I was disappointed both times. The dishes were average; some, like the gnocchi with truffles, were completely lacking in flavor and aroma – I had to season them myself. The portions were very small, and I feel like they were even smaller this year. The service was adequate but not very warm or engaged. The owners seemed rather arrogant, treating guests condescendingly. There’s no sense of Italian hospitality or warmth there – I won’t be coming back.

WOW! We were blown away by the service, the quality of the food and the price. The wine selection is focused on regional varieties which provide ample choices of outstanding quality. Matteo and Sam both had a hand in helping us choose the perfect wine for our dinner. We were given an amuse-bouche before our meal, an extra portion of boar to try with our wine, a tour of the wine cellar (dated around 200 BC), and a full-staff celebration of our 25th anniversary with complimentary chocolate mousse and Prosecco. It brought me to tears and I will never forget this wonderful experience.
