I've been going to this restaurant since 2005 (my freshman year of college), and what can I say? Everything is simply excellent. Starting with the owners, exceptional people who do their job with the utmost passion. The food is superb; I've never been disappointed. A must-visit for anyone visiting Siena (booking well in advance is recommended).

You have to wait an hour for a table

A very quaint atmosphere. I felt at home and the food was divine. Typical Tuscan dishes, fantastic ribollita, melt-in-the-mouth wild boar stew, and flavorful and tender sliced ​​steak. Kudos to all the staff, welcoming and kind. I can't wait to visit you again.

We made the reservation a day in advance by phone, easily. Remember that this is the only way to get a table. We went for lunch at 2:00 pm. The restaurant wasn't crowded, but if we hadn't reserved a table, we wouldn't have had lunch. Excellent service, super polite and helpful waiters. Younger and more tech-savvy generation, we liked the kindness and smiles. The food was good, tasty, but nothing new. There could have been more portions on the plates, after all, the price is higher $$$. The atmosphere is very pleasant, it really resembles a tavern, and since it wasn't crowded there was no noise. We liked it a lot. We were served by three waiters, all very kind, Samy was the one who explained the dishes to us with patience and generosity. Our day in Siena was delightful and having lunch at La Taverna San Giusepe was a great experience.

We chose Siena to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. After much research, we found this place. Everything was impeccable, the food was top-quality, the atmosphere was charming, and the staff, who are truly kind and professional, have just the right amount of warmth to make their guests feel at home. The cake was a surprise we'd never seen before; it left us speechless and was truly appreciated, which is no small feat. Congratulations again to all the staff, who know how to make this place magical with their work. We'll return every time we come to Siena. Highly recommended.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. The pairing of the meat and wine was absolutely perfect.

The food was really good, but the service was disappointing. Very snooty waiters! In the end we skipped dessert because we didn’t want to give the waiters any more business. Just snooty and give the vibes of “we’re better than you” all around. Way better places to go in Siena!
