La Taverna Di Roberto In Bologna

We went to eat here for Epiphany. At the entrance they welcomed us really kindly and it was already a good start. We ordered passatelli in broth as a first course: the best I've eaten since I've been in Bologna. We then shared a stuffed guinea fowl: it was truly spectacular, with really tasty side dishes of chicory and potatoes. Very kind and helpful staff. Cozy atmosphere. Overall, a very positive experience. We will definitely be back.

Ancient trattoria in the heart of Bologna, discovered by chance, excellent traditional food. Undoubtedly one of the few trattorias in the center with traditional dishes with excellent value for money. We will definitely be back.......

Nice traditional restaurant in Bologna; good food in line with other places. Selection of cheeses and cured meats not excellent but good. Passatelli in broth and tagliatelle with meat sauce are very good. Coffee, water and a glass of red wine (€7 per glass of Sangiovese). I give 4 stars for the price: €69 of which €3 cover charge each seems above average in relation to what we ate.

Typical cuisine, good service, very beautiful location. I highly recommend trying the shank and the Bolognese cutlet. Very fair price.

I went today, to be honest, medium quality cold cuts, I find better in Rome, fettuccine, yes good, but I expected much more in Bologna, then the location, although they were kind to find us a table without a reservation, very cramped place , interlocking chairs with not even the possibility of moving unless someone moves them

Authentic restaurant with local cuisine. The food was tasty. However, the tiramisu was served in a shabby way with a piece of plastic.

Roberto's Taverna is a guarantee. The quality/price ratio is remarkable. During this period they served us the panettone they produced as a "free gift" which was out of this world. I highly recommend making a reservation if you plan to have lunch at Roberto's.

La bolognesità un po' guitta e vintage del gestore (il Roberto eponimo?), puro caratterista di Pupi Avati, è il fil rouge di un'esperienza altalenante che si snoda fra alti e bassi negli spazi fin troppo angusti di un locale pieno ma anche esageratamente affollato di tavoli, che non lasciano il dovuto spazio di manovra, per non parlare di silenzio e privacy. Diseguali i piatti, il cui livello medio è comunque sopra la sufficienza: generico e un po' deludente il tagliere di salumi e verdurine sottaceto (bene), servito senza accompagnamento di pane, crescentA, o simili (meno bene). Si sale di livello col primo, dei balanzoni (piatto certo non tradizionale ma, diciamo, neotradizionale) verdi alla crema di parmigiano, saporiti e profumati. Su livello intermedio si assestano i secondi (rollé di faraona e polpettone alla petroniana). Il dolce, con estroso e generoso arbitrio, ci viene assegnato -- e offerto -- d'ufficio, e si rivela assai buono. Infine, due note di merito: l'abbondanza del calice di vino, che ne fa la quantità giusta per accompagnare l'intero pasto, e l'impeccabile professionalità del personale di sala. Conto proporzionato.
