Good place for a quick lunch or aperitivo. They don’t serve cooked dishes ‘like pasta’. Had a plate with a variety of pecorino cheese with ricotta, but that was it. Me and my husband had both the ‘vegetables’ but arrived some preserved like zucchini’s, beets and artichokes. I think their price is expensive in proportion of what we ate. All of the above, €51 with 2 glasses of wine.

A small, yet welcoming and intimate restaurant in the heart of Pienza. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can enjoy platters of excellent local produce and delicious crostoni, accompanied by good local wine. A truly positive experience, I would definitely return.

Located on a small side street off the main shopping street, it's a tiny place that maximizes every space.
Very welcoming and cozy.
The owner is kind and very friendly.
The dishes offered aren't very extensive, but they're delicious!

Re Artù's tavern is a delightful little corner in the heart of Pienza, run with passion. You'll find wonderful and succulent platters of Tuscan cured meats, cheeses with honey and unique compotes or jellies, delicious crostini, and the best ricotta on the planet!
Ask for advice on choosing wines or craft beers, and you won't regret it!

Was immediately attracted by the sign “no pasta, no coffee, no soft drinks”. We loved the place, the feel and the owner was amazing. We tried some awesome pecorino cheeses paired with great flavors of honey and of course the wine was amazing.

I don't know how this restaurant doesn't have more reviews and a higher rating because it's incredibly good. The owners are lovely, super helpful, and humble. We ordered the selection of Pienza cheeses with honey and homemade jams - a must! Pairing the pecorino with honey and jams was a wonderful experience.
We also ordered a Crostoni de Re Artú and Crostoni number 1 - both amazing, we highly recommend them! To drink, we ordered a glass of Rosso de Re Artu wine, and I don't remember the white wine, but it was the last one on the white wine list, and it was great! We went back every day 🫶🏼
