Really great crostini! Exactly what we were looking for, a quick, cheap, typical and tasty lunch and we found it in this place. I highly recommend dropping by, the average price of a crostini is €7/8 and one personally filled me to perfection. Excellent combinations and ingredients.

La taverna is definitely one of the best places in Pienza. Such lovely people, Giuseppe & Sara, and their delicious platters and wines. We had such a lovely time here and nice conversations. It was a place where we went several times, as we couldn't get enough. Thank you Sara & Giuseppe, if we lived closer, I'm sure we would have been friends!

Attirati dalle recensioni positive abbiamo deciso di fermarci per pranzo. Abbiamo preso un tagliere di formaggi con la ricotta, un tagliere di affettati con la mortadella di Prato e due calici di vino. A seguire, un crostone e una fonduta. Tutto squisito, assolutamente da consigliare e da ri-provare!

Posto piccolino ma assolutamente da provare se si passa per Pienza. Sono stata qui a pranzo con il mio ragazzo e abbiamo scelto, un crostone con pecorino fuso, fichi e prosciutto crudo, spaziale.. poi per continuare tagliere di salumi toscani e tagliere di formaggi di Pienza accompagnati da marmellate e miele buonissimi e consigliati ognuno per un tipo di formaggio diverso.. ritornerò sicuramente

16/08/2024: There are places that leave you smiling when you leave, customs is one of them. Not only for its truly scenic position, or for the refined dishes with a Tuscan flavor without being obvious and a hint of Holland, but also for the smile and welcome of those who work in this restaurant.

09/08/2024: Beautiful experience, everything smells of good wine and attention to the customer. Very suggestive location immersed in Chianti, very competent staff.
07/08/2024: Three days and three fantastic evenings which allowed us to tour all of Chianti from a very central position. Excellent service, kindness and helpfulness of the staff. They organized 3 dinners for us in 3 different areas of the structure with 3 different menus for our evenings. Well done and thanks
