What a great spot. Awesome staff and very good food. We had several dishes, ribs, pork shoulder sandwich, ravioli, spaghetti. All were excellent. Service was very good, friendly and helpful. Seated downstairs on the deli side, each time.e the exterior door on the front was opened, cigarette smoke would want in from the entrance (not pleasant).

The place is nice (even if there is some scaffolding on the facade) the ravioli with braised meat and truffle with parmesan cream are 10/10 (I would have eaten 4 more dishes if it weren't for the wait) the Argentinean entercote was acceptable. The waiting time for three dishes was interminable and I didn't mention the sliced potatoes, a bad mistake that cost the food a star. The bill was honest in my opinion.

My girlfriend and I had dinner, everything was perfect, excellent meat, but the shank was something exceptional.
The waiter was knowledgeable and very kind.

This tavern was just a couple blocks away from where we stayed in Gaeta. My wife and ordered a couple beers and the mixed bruschetta, one of which has anchovies (very salty) if you have never eaten it before. For our main plates we had meat filled ravioli which was very good and the spaghetti con vongole had good flavor.
