The place is very nice, distributed in various spaces and very welcoming. We came in the winter so it was nice and warm, but we will return in the summer to repeat the experience. The food was good although the menu is quite sparse. For a place that professes to be a pub you should have a French fry, also because baked potatoes may not appeal to everyone (here I am!). The final bill was perhaps a little expensive. The service... We had to get up a few times to call the waiters, and again: a place that calls itself a restaurant should not allow this to happen. Maybe this confused me a little: is it a tavern? A restaurant? A pub? It is not clear what identity the place wants to have and this is reflected in the menu, the service and the management of the room.

I went there for a dinner and the quality of the meat was truly superb, it was so good it melted in your mouth.
(I took a tartare and a rib-eye)
The vegetable side dishes were equally good and weren't just something reheated to go alongside the meat.
Excellent dessert.

We had been to this restaurant some time ago. Not a huge place, very quaint. Located about 10 minutes walk from the centre. Friendly staff. We liked the dishes we ate. Correct prices.

Eravamo stati in questo ristorante tempo fa. Locale non grandissimo, molto caratteristico . Situato a circa 10 minuti a piedi dal centro. Personale gentile. I piatti che abbiamo mangiato ci sono piaciuti. Prezzi corretti.

Taverna de Mino es la mejor casa de carnes de Gaeta. Fui allí este fin de semana con un par de amigos y comencé mi comida con una porción muy grande de tartar de ternera bien condimentado. Seguido de un corte de dos pulgadas de espesor de ribeye florentino a la parrilla a la perfección medianamente rara y sazonado con sal marina de cristal grande, aderezado con papas asadas para absorber los jugos de bistec. Todo muy delicioso. Es el servicio con el que tengo problemas. Si usted no es un cliente de habla italiana tienen muy poco tiempo o paciencia para usted. En resumen, el personal era grosero. Cuando uno de mis amigos hizo una pregunta sobre un elemento en el menú, el camarero muy exasperado dijo “No lo sé. Búscalo en internet.” ¿Significaba eso que no sabía cómo explicarlo en inglés o que no sabía qué había en su propio menú?” De cualquier manera, éramos una molestia para él. Sin embargo, cuando los clientes italianos llegaron en el personal era muy acogedor y encantador, ofreciéndoles un gran servicio. ¿Volveré? Sí, porque la comida es tan buena. ¿Toleraré un comportamiento tan grosero una segunda vez sin decir nada? Probablemente no.

Very nice place in a beautiful Gaeta and among other things just a few minutes from the split mountain. You can eat well at honest prices.
