"The Artist's Tavern is a treasure chest hiding enchanting treasures."
In the center of Montelupone, a village that perfectly preserves its medieval origins and is meticulously cared for by its residents, there is a restaurant (also a B&B, Escape Room, and gourmet shop) run by Leonardo, a host and multifaceted artist of exceptional creativity mixed with pragmatism.
Specializing in risottos, we tried three types: beetroot and Taleggio DOP; saffron, cod, and chives; and black truffle and porcini mushrooms. All truly excellent!!! We were also impressed by the appetizer, a generous selection of local cured meats and typical fried foods from the Marche region.
We were hosted in a splendid frescoed room, but each room holds surprises that evoke the ancient history of those who inhabited those spaces.
The menu is extensive, and we will definitely return to try new dishes, preceded by a game session with a mysterious backstory in the Escape Room.
Last but not least, a word of praise goes to the kind and professional staff.

Highly recommended! A place you absolutely must try and enjoy; we ate wonderfully and introduced our guests to the best of Marche cuisine. Plus, the risottos are fantastic and unique! The owner, Leonardo, is a veritable whirlwind of ideas and suggestions: we'll be back to try the escape room.

We had dinner at Taverna dell'Artista and it was simply a fantastic experience!
From the start, we were impressed by the appetizers: delicious, rich, and very varied. Each dish was prepared with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, and you could really taste the attention to detail. The risottos? Fabulous! Creamy, perfectly blended, and with balanced flavors. I absolutely recommend the beetroot and taleggio one: an original and delicious combination that won us over from the first bite.
Special thanks to Leonardo, the owner, who was truly fantastic. In addition to welcoming us with great warmth and professionalism, he took us on a wonderful tour of the restaurant's basement, where they also organize escape rooms: an experience within an experience, which made the evening even more unique and fun.
Beautiful place, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent quality food. I highly recommend it, especially for a dinner with friends: we will definitely be back! ✨🍷

An experience of pure excellence
There are no other words to describe it: everything was simply exceptional.
The quality of the food is superior: every dish is prepared with attention to the smallest details, using the freshest ingredients that bring out authentic and refined flavors. The cuisine was truly excellent, one of the best I've had in recent memory.
What makes it all perfect, however, is the balance with the service: the quality of the service was impeccable, and the entire staff was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely kind, making the lunch more than enjoyable.
A rare combination of excellence between cuisine and hospitality. Highly recommended!
