Famous for the use of truffles and porcini mushrooms, I wanted to try the polenta with porcini mushroom and truffle sauce, unfortunately the polenta for my taste was too liquid and unbound as well as very bland, the sauce was quite good but also a little bland.
I tasted the risotto always with porcini mushrooms and grated truffle and this was done well but still lacked a bit of salt, it must be the chef's choice to add little salt to his dishes.
Lastly, a mixed grill with lamb chops, sausage and pork steak.
Decent ribs, very tasty and tasty sausage while the steak was overcooked and dry.
Friendly and kind staff.
Room divided into several rooms with a covered veranda divided from the outside with plastic sheets.
The restaurant is located in the historic center of a small village, Montelupone, which is very well kept and welcoming and is worth a visit.

Punto di forza della Taverna i risotti declinati in diversi sapori, tutti interessanti. Il gentilissimo proprietario e chef ci ha descritto con particolare attenzione i piatti proposti, tutti ottimi con menzione particolare per la tagliata di scottona. Un piccolo appunto sul coniglio in porchetta risultato un po' troppo “asciutto”. Ottimi anche il tagliere tradizionale e i dolci; delizioso in particolare il sorbetto all’anice. Conto adeguato. Un particolare ringraziamento alla cameriera gentile e sorridente. Bravi.
