Very nice location, average culinary offer. It's a shame because it wouldn't take much to reach higher levels: pici cooked a little too much, anonymous desserts... the presence of the owner raises the average

We spent New Year's Eve in this place. Top quality food with kind and attentive service. The wine list also features top quality products. Truffle pappardelle with Tuscan ham, salted ricotta and lemon, a little rigati with trailed ragù, a nice Florentine steak for 2 and as dessert tiramisu on a base of cantucci biscuits and mascarpone cream with fig jam. All accompanied by an excellent 100% Sangiovese. We licked our chops… See you next time... which won't be missed!!

Pietanze ricercate, location molto particolare che porta indietro nel tempo, personale gentile e attento, dolci squisiti. Prezzi giusti per la qualità offerta. Non il solito ristorante per turisti.

Beautiful restaurant with tables in the basement, all in exposed stone and very characteristic and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the owner very nice and very helpful in explaining his dishes. You can tell he loves his job. The dishes are excellent and plentiful. Must try.

02/01/2025: Really nice place and well trained and friendly waiters. There were 7 of us and everything was delicious from pizza to desserts. We also tried the Pignatta, a delicious dish from Matera. The scialatielli with cardoncelli and crusco peppers are fantastic. Excellent value for money, plentiful dishes, impeccable service and fantastic location. I would go back and recommend it. 02/01/2025: We came across this restaurant thanks to the advice of the hotel we stayed in in Matera and supported by the good reviews. Our dinner was very varied, we fortunately tasted different courses and I must say that they were all beautifully presented and always prepared with the same dedication. From the appetizers to the first courses up to the pizza and desserts we found a high level of food quality and cuisine. The very fast service and friendly staff, as well as the location which is truly a little jewel. Really excellent value for money!
