We loved the experience. First of all, the place is beautiful, all stone, quite medieval, in keeping with the village itself. Then the food was also delicious; the meat with mushrooms and truffle was incredible, and the mushrooms were fantastic. And finally, the waitress was lovely, trying to speak our language the whole time. A very good experience; we hope to return in the future.

Delicious food; we highly recommend the meat with mushrooms and truffle. The woman who served us was absolutely lovely and made an effort to speak to us in Spanish. It's not very cheap, but it's well worth it.

We came upon this gem while strolling through Volterra. We chose here to eat because of the incredible aroma coming from their restaurant and it did not disappoint! We are on our 4th week (of five) of our travels throughout Italy (Rome, Amalfi Coast, Venice, Lake Como and now Tuscany) and our food as well as our overall dining experience here was the VERY BEST so far. We asked our sweet waitress for her recommendations and ordered the two pasta dishes she recommended. They were delivered to our table and the owner topped them with fresh truffle along with a homemade oil/nut spray he recommended to be put over the scallop pasta dishes. Both meals were full of so much flavor. We had our friendly waitress once again recommend two desserts and we went with those (cheesecake with dates and the tiramisu).I’m not a huge fan of tiramisu, but we chose those two since her first recommendations were spot on. They did not disappoint! Both were light, creamy and delicious. As she brought coffee to the table the owner came over with a bottle of Caramel flavored Amerro with two glasses for us to enjoy on the house. He later asked us if we wanted to see his cellar and told us the deep history about it. (Highly recommend asking to eat in the cellar-it’s beautiful!) So I guess the nose knows! We highly recommend doing what we did and follow the aromatic smells to discover the tastiest food with the kindest owner and staff to this beautiful gem of a restaurant.

Good food, portions not too large, but just right (you won't go hungry). The staff is friendly, welcoming, and welcoming. The price is fair for the quality of the dishes, and the wine is locally sourced.

We stopped for lunch at this restaurant, and the first thing we noticed (and was very welcome) was the warm welcome the waiters gave my German Shepherd. As soon as we sat down, they brought us water for us and Falco (a German Shepherd). We had a wonderful lunch, savoring Tuscan cuisine (everything was truly delicious), so we were pleased with the food but even more so with the kindness shown to our dog. Thanks again for your hospitality.

Unique experience and the most delicious Ribollita!

We stopped for a beer, the service was very nice but two beers for €13 were a bit pricey.

Very friendly service, decent food, and comfortable outdoor seating. The only thing that's annoying is the large screen with the same old images.
