La Taverna della Rocca In Tivoli

I was here for the first time, it was recommended to me by the Beninato family and I can say that I enjoyed the real Roman cuisine Compliments to the kitchen and the lady for service Until next time

After the visit to Villa d'Este, we took a moment to relax and, without a reservation, we found a restaurant inside the Castello della Rocca: the Ristorante della Rocca. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming environment. The owner immediately seemed very helpful, while the waiter received us with great kindness and sympathy. (Unfortunately I don't know the name but very competent) We tasted traditional Roman dishes of the highest level, prepared with care and quality ingredients. An experience that we recommend to anyone who wants to taste true Roman cuisine in a suggestive and authentic atmosphere.

Food wasn't that great, not worth it

Mi sono recato in questo ottimo ristorante per festeggiare una ricorrenza straordinaria: la mia laurea! Ho già avuto modo di festeggiare eventi della mia famiglia presso “La Taverna”, riusciti tutti benissimo, ma stavolta il limite è stato superato: tutto è riuscito alla perfezione, dalla scelta della sala, alla disposizione dei tavoli, fino ad arrivare al menu. Eravamo 60 persone, la serata è stata organizzata con aperitivo e antipasto a buffet, i due primi piatti con secondo e contorni serviti a tavola per finire con torta a buffet. Il cibo è stato tutto di altissima qualità, fresco, cucinato espresso. Ricchissimo e straordinario aperitivo e antipasto, cosa non c’era?!? Mezze maniche all’amatriciana e lasagna bianca con i carciofi a dir poco squisita.. brasato cicoria di campo e patate al forno tutto eccellente! Si conclude con digestivi, caffè e la magnifica torta.. millefoglie alla nocciola.. piaciuto a tutti! Il tutto accompagnato da Antonio il musicista che ha allietato la serata anche delle sale confinanti con la nostra! Che dirvi? Non fatevelo raccontare, andate a “La Taverna della Rocca”, non è facile accontentare 60 persone, ma loro ci riescono e come! COMPLIMENTI P.s.: non dispongo di foto del cibo perché fotografare sarebbe stato scorretto, il loro cibo va goduto!

Optimal We had lunch here in a week, we did it again, everything was excellent, scampi cream delicious and served on a large shell, and very Roman dishes... (Date of visit: August 2021)

I went on a trip to Tivoli alone. Everything from appetizers to desserts was really delicious. I ordered in Italian, but they also have an English menu, so you can go even if you don't speak Italian. The staff are also really friendly. I had the famous shrimp risotto and the cream was really thick. Since risotto is usually eaten with a fork, they don't give you a separate spoon, so ask for it if you need it! It was a bit dark inside.

This restaurant was absolutely incredible. The staff/service was amazing and the food was some of the best food we had in all of Italy. The shrimp risotto was by far the best with rich flavors and wonderful presentation. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you visit Tivoli. Thank you so much for a great experience! We’ll make sure to return on our next visit.

A pranzo per il primo dell'anno, insieme a un gruppo in gita a Tivoli, con menù a prezzo fisso, composto da: tre antipasti (affettati misti, lenticchie e cotechino, patate fritte fresche e verdure pastellate); un primo (bucatini all'amatriciana), un secondo (brasato al Cesanese), due contorni (patate al forno, verdure e insalata mista), dolce e caffè. Tutti i piatti erano abbondanti e di buona qualità Personale simpatico, goliardico e con la battuta sempre pronta, ma molto professionale ed efficiente, e soprattutto particolarmente attento a esigenze ed intolleranze alimentari. Locale ampio, disposto su più livelli. Non particolarmente appariscente dall'esterno (l'ingresso pare il portale di una chiesa!), ma con un elegante stile tra l'antico, l'aristocratico e il retró. E molto ben gestito nonostante le dimensioni e le sale piene. Grazie di tutto!
