A great place to stop for a proper lunch. We were their guests (20 of us) with appetizers and a mixed grill, wine, coffee, and some desserts: €48 per person. Honest.

We made a reservation for lunch a few hours in advance (recommended given the limited seating). The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are very fair. The pici all'aglione and duck ragù were very good. Recommended!

I arrived alone at La Taverna di Berardenga on a quiet Sunday afternoon, without a reservation. Despite this, the staff was immediately welcoming and kindly seated me at a table overlooking the greenery of the splendid Tuscan countryside – a real feast for the eyes. I recommend booking, especially on the busiest days. At the waiter’s suggestion, I ordered the duck in porchetta: very tender, tasty, truly fabulous. As a side dish, some simply exceptional fried porcini mushrooms – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, an explosion of flavor. An experience I hope to repeat soon. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through these parts. Authentic atmosphere, impeccable service and cuisine to remember!

Good service. I took an appetizer on the cutting board. Pici all'aglione, malfatti with pancetta and cherry tomatoes, desserts, coffee and two glasses of wine. All the dishes were excellent.

Es war einmal, das Essen ist noch immer gut, das Ambiente ist modern und kalt geworden. Der Kellner ist leider ein arroganter Besserwisser. Schade wie sich das Lokal im Laufe der Jahre entwickelt hat.

09/11/2025: We visited this restaurant during our stay in Siena. Everything was good, in the best sense of the word. The ribollita and pici were tasty, without too many frills, and they kept us company like an old friend who may not surprise, but never disappoints. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was quiet.
