Room very clean and organized. It could be a little larger, but the price corresponds to what's offered. Also a little noisy because of the restaurant's clients right below the room's window.

This place was the highlight of our stay in Liguria. We returned twice because we wanted to eat the whole menu. Everything was delicious, everything was beautiful, everyone was so kind. Not content with that, we also stopped by the wine cellar to pick up sauces, liqueurs, and local products. We hope to return soon 🫶🏻

Delicious food, I chose the braised beef myself and it is delectable!!! For dessert I had Granpa's cake, which is a delicious homemade cake with chocolate filling.. As a Dutch person, I am very surprised by this delicious food. 10+ for the taste.

This was probably the best piece of meat I've had in my life!!!!! The sgabie is to die for. Im looking forward to be able to head back soon.

A must-visit in La Spezia. We had a fantastic meal. The atmosphere and medieval decor, set to a backdrop of hard rock and metal, is amazing. 😃🤘🏼 We ate very well for a reasonable price. I recommend booking in advance.

I visited La Taverna Del Metallo in La Spezia, Italy, and it was one of those places that exceeded all my expectations. It's a bar-restaurant that combines a medieval tavern-style ambiance with rock and metal music in the background, creating a unique atmosphere that you won't find just anywhere. The place has a very distinctive decor, with candlelight and wooden tables that give it a cozy and special touch, ideal for spending the evening enjoying good music, beer, and food. The menu offers traditional Italian and local dishes—such as ravioli, polenta, and pork specialties—accompanied by an excellent selection of craft beers and local wines. The service was friendly and attentive, always with a smile, and the atmosphere was so pleasant that every moment there was fun and relaxed. The place tends to get crowded, so it's worth booking in advance, but it's totally worth it. In short, if you want to spend a different kind of night with good food, memorable beers, and an original atmosphere, this place is highly recommended. 🍻✨

Nice selection of beers, good ones. And the dishes change weekly. Prices are average. Friendly and welcoming. Not for a typical dinner, but for a drink; if not typical, certainly good. Best to book.

The place is perfectly on point; it knows what it wants and does it very well. The guys' idea is very clear: to bring a Viking vibe, and the formula works, with a distinctive atmosphere, unique dishes, and a strong identity without overdoing it. From a place like this, you'd expect the smell of beer, a dusty atmosphere, and sticky tables, but instead the place is clean and the guys are very friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is clear, not too long, and complete with descriptions and allergens. It all seems obvious, but sometimes the winning formula is simply knowing what you want to do and doing it well.

Contact with the managers was very good. The location is excellent (between the town and the train station), but beware of parking: it's impossible to park on the surrounding streets, it's a complete mess. I recommend parking in the train station parking lot (€25 per night, which is the price of a hotel room, so it's reasonable). There was a water leak in the bathroom (which was known because a towel was wrapped around a pipe of the water heater), and the French doors leading to the balcony have a manufacturing defect, allowing air to completely escape through an outside corner of the door. As a result, we were cold at night (in February) despite the heating being on. However, the room is excellent in every other respect: cleanliness, location, accessibility, design, layout... We would recommend it. But some technical adjustments are still needed.
