I stayed in one of the rooms upstairs and made a reservation to the tavern twice during my three night stay (it was so good that we had to go back). They service was awesome, we never had a problem making a reservation, and the food and beer were delicious. It's the best restaurant the area. The others look too touristy or not of good quality. This place sells some great food and the beer selection is one of the best I've seen. Beware, most of their menu is pork/pig options, although I do not eat pork products I was able to walk away from that restaurant full and happy with some great options to choose from. Though this is not a place for vegans or vegetarians.

In La Spezia, I discovered a unique medieval tavern with excellent food, unbeatable service, and a wide selection of beers. The atmosphere is unique, unlike anything else in the town. I'm delighted; I highly recommend it and would definitely return.

A top restaurant, even if you're not into the metal, medieval, dark, and beer-fueled vibe. They give you the cold shoulder if you order a Coca-Cola (it's awful in a place like that), and the menu is generally heavy (appropriate for the famine era it's set in).
It's usually packed, so it's a good idea to make a reservation.
Don't make it a crowded place; it would lose all its charm.

Very nice tavern, reminiscent of a medieval cellar. Friendly and friendly staff, excellent food with delicious dishes and special beers. I recommend the tripe with potatoes and mushrooms, the pork ribs, as well as the sgabei (like panzerottini, typical of the area). The mushroom ones are excellent! Better to book, especially on weekends, it's always full. Very honest prices.

Great pub food in the center of Spezia
I went to this pub with some colleagues for dinner. The restaurant is located in a side street of the central Via Prione. The interior is not very large but the space is optimized to accommodate around thirty seats. The decor is classic pub style, in the background, as you can imagine from the name, metal music is played. I took some stools as an appetizer and the boneless shank steak. The first courses were good, the meat was excellent and very soft. I accompanied dinner with a very good IPA beer. Prices are fair for the generous portions. The service is fast.

Ci andiamo solitamente per bere una buona birra, ambiente unico a Spezia e fornito di ottime birre non banali. Questa volta abbiamo voluto provare la cucina. Molto buoni sia i primi che abbiamo provato che il tagliere di formaggi. Il tutto accompagnato da vino rosso. Buona la carta dei vini, al

Sono stato in questo pub con alcuni colleghi per cena. Il locale si trova in una traversa della centralissima via Prione. L'interno non è molto grande ma lo spazio è ottimizzato per poter accogliere una trentina di coperti. L'arredamento è quello classico dei pub, in sottofondo, come intuibile dal nome, viene trasmessa musica metal lo ho preso degli sgabei come antipasto e la spezzata di stinco senz'osso. I primi erano buoni, la carne era ottima e molto morbida. Ho accompagnato la cena con una birra IPA molto buona. I prezzi sono onesti per le generose porzioni. Il servizio è veloce.
