A charming, high-quality restaurant. Located at the top of Fiuggi. The young waiters were very friendly. They spoke English and Spanish.

Excellent, flavorful food, varied menu. We especially recommend the buffalo mozzarella fondue with porcini mushrooms, tomato meatballs, and zazzere with mushrooms and guanciale (flavorful, savory). Tiramen' cima all'amaretto: a less-than-exceptional take on tiramisu.
Good value.
Located in the historic center.
Not easily accessible for those with limited mobility, due to the stairs without handrails and the steepness, being in the historic center of Fiuggi.
Professional, fast service.
€30 per person with excellent local Cesanese wine.

Absolutely stunning location. The food was lovely, the wine tasty and the service great. Very pleased. Plus the waitress spoke a little English. Vegetarian options available as well.

A name that's a guarantee... every time we pass through Fiuggi, we can't help but come to the castle tavern. From the food, to the location, to the service... everything is excellent.

Siamo tornati a mangiare in questo ristorante dopo tanti anni e ne è valsa la pena. Curato nei minimi particolari è un angolo di storia all'interno del centro storico. Ci sono anche tavoli esterni, ottima soluzione nella stagione giusta. La cucina è carica di gusto e ben assortita con funghi, pancetta, ottimi formaggi, salumi, carni e contorni di stagione... Tra i dolci: fantastico il tiramisù con fondo di amaretti imbevuti di caffè... Servizio simpatico e informale.

Siamo stati lì lo scorso weekend ed è stata una splendida esperienza. Abbiamo mangiato divinamente degli ottimi piatti preparati in maniera impeccabile, ambiente meraviglioso e caratteristico, unica nota leggermente negativa è la rapidità del servizio, troppo veloce tra una pietanza e l’altra infatti abbiamo dovuto avvisare di aspettare tra una pietanza e l’altra ma purtroppo non è stato fatto. Ma ci ritornerei sicuramente anche domani
