La Taverna del Castello In Fiuggi

Good restaurant with original dishes and bold flavors. Excellent meat, fast service. Good wine selection. The restaurant is a bit hidden but very rustic.

Perfect is an understatement. We ate wonderfully; everything was delicious and plentiful. The place is quiet and beautiful, both inside and out. The staff is friendly and courteous and very attentive to their customers. For what we ate, we got what we deserved. I recommend the cheese and porcini fondue. We'll definitely be back. Everything was perfect; we loved it.

I gave three stars for the place, as for the cost of what I consumed I should give one, exorbitant bill at the end for the food, on the bill €3 for service (you sit at the table without any tablecloth, not even paper) negative experience... then you decide.

An extremely charming location in the historic center of Fiuggi. The building, both inside and out, is very charming and meticulously maintained. Clean, tidy, and coherent throughout, with the only flaw being the LED lighting in the dining room where we ate, which I think should be replaced with something warmer. Warm and attentive service from the maitre d' (perhaps the owner) and a bit more subdued from the commis. Excellent food. A mixed platter featuring a top-class ricotta cheese, delicious horsemeat sausage, and equally delicious olives, among other specialties. Jar-cooked meatballs. Delicious porcini fondue. Then carbonara and amatriciana, prepared to perfection. An evening in excellent company, where this restaurant placed the right accents and underscored the right elements with discretion and a sense of class that was never overbearing and never overly full. Definitely worth a visit.

Very well-kept restaurant. Good food, regular portions, nothing negative. Fast service, knowledgeable and very kind owner and staff. Worth a try if you pass through Fiuggi.

Serata ottima sia dal punto di vista del cibo che del personale e dell accoglienza. Sono stata diverse volte in questo ristorante ma mai con il bambino e non ero molto convinta nel farlo per via della cuicna poco adatta a lui,ma sono rimasta davvero contenta perché anche lui ha avuto modo di mangiare (e parlo di pasta al sugo con tanto di scelta del formato di pasta).Per quanto riguarda noi adulti ottimo servizio e consiglio sul cibo e sul vino.Ci torneremo sicuramente!!

Piacevole scoperta di questa location, ottimo cibo, camerieri gentilissimi, non è economico ma ne vale la pena e ci torneremo sicuramente. Le bombe di poppella fantastiche
