La Taverna Del Bucaniere In Gallarate

A lovely place in the center of Gallarate, in the pedestrian area, where you can enjoy excellent beer and appetizers. A bit small, but in the summer they also have outdoor seating. The chalkboard menu features excellent burgers, but I was there for an aperitivo.

I found it somewhat by chance, and was immediately struck by the interior decor and the friendly owners. The pub has a strong pirate theme, with dark, welcoming colors. The menu offers a good selection, especially alcoholic beverages, and the attentive and helpful service immediately put me at ease. Prices are reasonable for a downtown pub. The burgers are quite good, and the platters are generous and perfect for an aperitif or appetizer. I'll definitely be back.
