We ate spectacularly well, some spectacular ricotta ravioli, the food was very good, the service was very professional and the location was idyllic, overlooking the Val d'Orcia.

Top location, nothing to complain about. The pici ubriachi are good, but the portions aren't very substantial given the prices (other places cost less and you'll eat more). Good wine. If you eat on the terrace, the cover charge is €4; inside, it's €2.50.

We visited this restaurant last Sunday for lunch, four of us, without a reservation. Despite this, the staff welcomed us with kindness and helpfulness. The restaurant is located in San Quirico d'Orcia, in an enchanting location: we dined outdoors with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan hills, which alone are worth the visit. The restaurant's style is rustic and authentic, perfectly integrated with the atmosphere of the place. We started with a simple but delicious appetizer: crostini with sausage and pecorino cheese and a platter of local cured meats, accompanied by an excellent olive oil, just the right amount of heat, and a delicate, smooth honey that paired perfectly with the cheeses. For first courses, we chose the Pici Ubriachi and the Pappardelle al Cinghiale: the fresh pasta and the rich, flavorful sauces won us over. For second courses, we tried the Cinghiale in Braised Wild Boar and the Tagliata di Manzo con Porcini: both were exquisite. The wild boar was incredibly tender, melting in your mouth, and the porcini mushrooms were clearly fresh and well-cooked. Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert, but the menu offered truly inviting options... one more reason to return! In conclusion, an excellent experience in every way: food, service, atmosphere, and view. I absolutely recommend a visit!

The first courses and Florentine steak were delicious. The desserts (semifreddo) have room for improvement. The Florentine steak served on a hot stone so you can eat it to your liking was fantastic. The terrace with a beautiful view of the valley was stunning. Overall, the experience was very pleasant. The only thing that surprised me was the €4 cover charge for 4 people. It seems a bit excessive.
