La taverna dei Peccati In Bologna

After a nice hike from the station to San Luca, I happened upon this restaurant with friends for lunch... what can I say??? The owner is very welcoming, helpful, and above all nice... the location is cute and cozy... and the food is very good... the taverna appetizer is excellent, as is the cotoletta alla bolognese... straccetti with artichokes are top... as are the first courses... excellent!!!! As for dessert... for dessert, we had the pistachio semifreddo, but there were only a few grains of pistachio... and if I really want to nitpick... the dessert was nothing special, but despite everything, the plate came back empty... since the owner has always been very attentive to everything and often came to ask if everything was okay and to our liking, he was told that the dessert wasn't that great, but he, as an excellent entrepreneur, apologized and offered us another dessert... what can I say??? I recommend this place, it's a good place, the food is good, the owner is truly top-notch... and the price is average. I recommend it!

The tagliatelle al ragù was delicious, as was the tiramisu. A very good restaurant close to points of interest.

In the center of Bologna, traditional cuisine, a very charming venue, and extremely friendly staff. Reservations are recommended, but staff are available to organize tables if needed.

The welcome was good, the blond waiter was excellent, the dark-haired one was not. Mixed salad with arugula, which I didn't want; the waiter told me it was lamb's lettuce... tortellini in broth were salty for me but good, strips of meat with vegetables and baked potatoes were good, 1 glass of wine and 1 water, 72 euros for three.

We had dinner on December 31, 2025, celebrating midnight at a typical Bolognese restaurant in the historic center. The staff made you feel right at home. Excellent à la carte food (we tried several local dishes), fast service, and reasonable prices. We also returned on January 1, 2026, for lunch, a sure thing. What can I say... eating and drinking well, having fun without too many formalities, is the best way to unwind. Thanks in particular to Mr. Luca and Beppe, they were impeccable! Recommended, and see you next time!

The food and service were excellent, but unfortunately the experience was ruined by the noise level in the dining room. It was so loud it made it difficult to converse and enjoy our meal: we ate in a hurry to leave. It's a shame, because the quality is there, but I wouldn't return.

My sister, a friend, and I stopped here for lunch before a concert, and we couldn't have made a better choice! A small, meticulously maintained place where you immediately feel at home, without too many mincing words. The food is truly delicious; every dish amazed us! The service was equally outstanding: the waiters and the owner were fantastic, knowledgeable, and always ready with a joke and a smile. The atmosphere was so beautiful and welcoming, we could have stayed for hours. Highly recommended if you're looking for quality and friendliness in Bologna.

Midday is always full so expect some wait time. We waited for 10 minute maximum. The food came to our table quickly and it was tasty.

I think it's the best restaurant in Italy. Magical. Superb food and a splendid team. Highly recommended.
