02/03/2025: We came across this restaurant by chance, not knowing Milan, and we were pleasantly surprised.
The food is a unique gastronomic experience, the staff are attentive, prepared and polite.
I recommend it!
02/03/2025: I would like to point out that my opinions represent the opinions of the average non-connoisseur Italian, i.e. I think 90% of those who leave reviews on Google. The cuisine of this restaurant, regarding our menu choices, seemed to have strong and ambiguous tastes. Everything will certainly be very fresh but the chocolate candy filled with fish and the brioches with foie gras covered, I think, with currants, shocked my 3 year old son (who no longer trusted himself to taste anything, not even the delicious breadsticks and bread that accompanied dinner) and my wife. The limit between the concept of "fresh fish" and "taste of fish guts" is very thin, therefore, for me who have a good mouth (I who was also thinking about the vitamin B and Omega 3 I was probably taking) everything was ok, however for others like my wife the experience was not pleasant at all.
The platter of dry-aged fish is served with a trio of sauces that fail to create an exceptional taste experience, a few slices of lime were simply missing which would have made the dish more exciting. Here too the limit between "rare fish" and "dried fish crusts" is blurred.
The plain fettuccine that my child never tasted again, for fear of having the shocking experience of candy, was delicious from my point of view. The clam pasta with mullet bottarga was poorly seasoned (I couldn't taste the bottarga), just as the gnocchi lacked seasoning and salt.
In short, the restaurant is particular, definitely worth trying, the tastes are challenging and to understand, but I had to be honest in respecting the 140km we had to travel to reach the place, as well as regarding the private parking 1 meter from the restaurant which it recommends in its welcome WhatsApp message, parking where you are asked to pay in cash and without issuing a receipt.
Very friendly dining room staff, the only flaw was that we had to ask for the bread basket while waiting and the feeling that the story of the maturation was told a bit by heart and with little "passion".
