Strongly recommend researching Osteria vs Trattoria vs Restaurante. We ate very well at Osterias and Trattorias and saved a little money over Restaurantes. Dress code is also more lax as these were previously used for gambling and drinking more so than Restaurantes dedicated to fine dining.

Here we had the most amazing food in all florence. We went to all the tiktok places but we found this jewel by chance and is way better than all the other places. Best tiramisu, best pasta, best steak, best everything. Totally recomend, forget about the tiktok places

Top quality ingredients, simple cuisine but with a decidedly good result. Excellent service and professional and very polite staff. Overall satisfying experience. I happily return at least once a month.

We found surprising cuisine. Excellent choice of ingredients and care in preparing the dishes. We took a Florentine steak and the meat was tender and really tasty, something I haven't tasted in a long time. For those who live in the centre, even just for a few days, trust me that it is worth taking the extra four steps to reach this restaurant. The place is nice, but very simple and a little spartan... Typical example of: substance counts more than appearance!

This restaurant served delicious food. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi. It was delivered hot, and very tasty. Only 4 stars b/c the service was a bit slow due to only having two servers.

Couldn't fault it - florentine steak was amazing, as was the tiramisu and semi-fredo. Can't recommend enough! Yum-yum!!

20/12/2024: The lady was very friendly, and the prices were very affordable for being so close to a tourist place.
12/12/2024: Paolo e Francesca is a small, authentic bar in the historic city center of Florence. Despite the good location, there are a lot of locals here, which of course speaks for the quality. We had a panini and a glass of wine during a short break between sightseeing. Of course in front of the café. So a good offer at reasonable prices.

01/01/2025: My boyfriend and I chose this restaurant a bit randomly, wandering around the centre... and it was a very pleasant surprise: starting from the super friendly staff, the honest price (€9 for the ribollita and €45/kg for the Fiorentina, between the lowest seen around especially being in the center) but above all the food was super delicious. We ate the best roast potatoes in the world!! Finally, they also left us a small gadget each at the time of the bill!! We felt at home.
