The restaurant is small but delightful, just steps from the Duomo and very close to the city center.
The food is the real highlight: as a Messina native, I recognize the quality and freshness of the ingredients, all perfectly balanced in a varied and original menu. The kindness of the owners, who welcome you with a smile and great professionalism, completes the picture. I highly recommend it!

The tuna panino was delicious.
Our short stay(less than 2hours) in Messina was spent very wisely and meaningfully at “Mari & Muddichi”. Never thought burrata and fresh tuna would go so well together.
Warm service from the young owner also added to our experience. Thank you!!

What a wonderful discovery! This place, run by two young and passionate people, is a true gem in the heart of Messina. Their fish sandwiches are an explosion of freshness and creativity: every bite speaks of the care, enthusiasm, and love they put into their work.
We felt welcomed like old friends. Their attention to allergies was impeccable: they looked after us with sensitivity and professionalism, allowing us to enjoy a meal with complete peace of mind. And the dessert offered at the end of the meal was a truly sweet gesture, making everything even more special.

I went there recently for lunch with a friend of mine, and we were truly speechless! Everything was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and above all, both the man and the woman were very kind. The menu was quite extensive, and the fish was delicious and fresh. I recommend everyone to go there because it's truly worth it! 👍👍👍👍

A delicious tartare tasting with warm Venus rice crostini. The seared swordfish sandwich and tuna tartare sandwich were fabulous, all fresh and paired with perfect gourmet dishes.
