I stumbled upon it for lunch, a place that could use a makeover but is very quaint. Delicious pizza, excellent potato gnocchi (and generous portions), and fast, super-friendly service. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely eat here again. Excellent, and—I forgot to mention—super-fair prices.

Pizza is good, well-stocked, but nothing special. Maybe because I'm used to soft Neapolitan pizza dough. It's just a matter of taste. Very friendly and polite waiter. Prices are reasonable.

06/07/2026: Stopped by for a dessert, and I was really impressed by the quality and presentation. Everything in the display looked fresh, beautifully made, and almost too good to eat! I took a selection of pastries home. The staff were very friendly. Definitely worth a visit!
01/07/2026: A legendary pastry shop, but the baked goods are also exceptional. The ladies at the counter are welcoming and friendly. It's a pleasure to stop here.

05/05/2026: MUG is a place you absolutely must try if you come to Trieste. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food, both sweet and savory, is excellent in quality and variety. There are no other places like it in Trieste.
