I'm going to be completely honest.
I'd been passing by the restaurant for days since I was new to Italy as a tourist.
I didn't know them at all, but I'm giving them this 10/10 review because of the incredible service I received from the entire team at La Tana.
I made a reservation for 9:30 pm and they were super punctual with my table. They're very fast and feel like family. A young and efficient team. They made me three types of pizzas to my liking, and the first one I tried was absolutely spectacular—a touch of lemon and red tuna.
After so many years making pizzas in Spain, they fulfilled a dream of mine: putting a pizza in the oven. It's a memory I'll cherish. (Not just anyone can do that.)
1. First, everyone who wants to go should make a reservation.
2. Always be open to recommendations and try different things.
3. Great atmosphere, and you have to understand that sometimes not every meal goes perfectly. I say this because of the other users who leave negative reviews.
To give an opinion on a pizza, you have to try it and have experience with it. There are so many types of pizza; it's not just about liking it and ending up at a lot of restaurants. The world of gastronomy is constantly growing with many innovations and pizza styles.

Bari's historic pizzeria is an absolute must-try because it has consistently maintained a very high level of quality in both ingredients and service.
The menu offers a vast selection of pizzas, appetizers, artisanal desserts, including lactose-free options, and beers. The pizzas are carefully topped, even visually stunning. I hadn't been there for a while, but I was truly pleased with the attention to detail, especially for celiacs: the dough isn't factory-frozen, but rather homemade and then carefully topped in a dedicated environment—a rare treat. A well-kept and welcoming place.
I personally recommend it; reservations recommended.

Maybe because my expectations were high, I didn't like it very much! The place was chaotic, perhaps because they sat us next to the door. People came in, lingered, and sometimes didn't close the door. Aside from this inconvenience, there was a frenetic atmosphere, typical of Bari. The waiters, good guys, recommended pizzas. We ordered five pizzas in the center of the table, which arrived one at a time. Unusual for pizzerias! Perhaps because if they served them all together, they would have cooled quickly, as the pizzas were very thin. Although it's more accurate to describe them as piadinas!!! The piadinas were tasty and unique. It's a shame to pay oranges for lemons.
