20/03/2025: You arrive in a very beautiful and suggestive location with a tasting of croutons and oil, a bit sparse to welcome, but at least this formula is present, always welcome, but I expect to know the chef's touch with this move, instead nothing.
I did not try the appetizers because they did not inspire me, my wife was satisfied with the courgettes, mashed potatoes and sausage.
Let's move on to the first courses, in my opinion the highlight of the lunch, casarecce dell'oste and pansotti of ricotta in cream of walnuts and pistachios, very balanced and abundant dishes, I could distinguish all the very good ingredients, my second course was a colt rib, quite good meat, but the cut was not done very well, I had half a steak almost rare as I requested, alas the other half was overcooked, consequently stringy, accompanied by baked potatoes a bit disappointing.
The staff who welcomed us were almost intrusive with their eyes always on us while we were eating and since there were two of us in the whole room, I'll leave you to imagine, making us feel uncomfortable.
The bill was a sore point, not in line with what we ate, I would gladly return for the first courses, for the rest......
