A place right in the centre of Lucca. The sandwiches made with slices of crunchy bread are truly excellent. The owner is a kind and welcoming person. Highly recommended.

The platters are heartwarming, the house wine is top-notch, and the sandwiches are delicious and creative. Overall, they show a tremendous respect for Tuscan ingredients. The owners are wonderful people. What can I say? We always come back again and again!

A very unique little place to grab a drink, enjoy an aperitivo, and sample some typical Tuscan delicacies. We stopped for an aperitivo, and it was very pleasant. The appetizers, including cured meats and cheeses, were excellent!

Good sandwiches and bruschetta...the owner and his daughter are very kind and friendly...nice atmosphere.

December 26 1 sandwich with Tuscan peppered ham 1 sandwich with Tuscan peppered ham and pecorino cheese, prices for these two fillings weren't listed on the blackboard, or we didn't see them... The bread used, as it should be, consisted of slices of normal-sized Tuscan bread, good and warmed properly before filling. With the holidays, it couldn't have been on a daily basis. So, the sandwiches were good, the quantity of fillings normal, the quality good. 1 glass of red wine with the restaurant's label on the blackboard for €6, pleasant. 1 small craft lager-style draft beer for €4, as listed on the blackboard, good. €1 per person for cover charge and service as indicated. Total 28 euros, paid in cash, got the change, and after thirty seconds of us staring at each other at the register, I asked for the receipt. So 16 euros for the two sandwiches. The price on the website may not be up to date, but the one with Garfagnino pepatello and pecorino cheese says 5 euros. Let's say it's gone up to 7 euros, so mine with pepatello alone costs 9 euros. It's a simple calculation... Oh well, I was tired, and maybe the host too. I'll go back next week because I have to go back to Lucca, so I'll ask him in person.
