We sampled the Maremma-style tripe, a dish rich in flavor and tradition, and the pici all'aglione, which were equally delicious. Both dishes were prepared with meticulous attention to detail, demonstrating the passion and expertise of the kitchen. A touch of class we appreciated was the coffee, served directly at the table in a moka pot, a detail that made the experience even more special. While passing through the villages of wonderful Tuscany, we stopped at this tiny restaurant located in a characteristic alley of the place. Everything was very good and impeccable... I recommend it to anyone who will come here in the future.

Very nice place. The owners are very kind, helpful, and attentive. The place is very well-kept. The cuisine is very refined and light. I'm sure the ingredients are very fresh. I recommend trying the desserts, very very good.

Unfortunately, this was a really big disappointment. I read a lot about this place and was very excited to try it out but what I found was average food, nasty service and that’s about it. The famous pici all’aglione, which is usually very creamy from the sweet garlic being whipped up, was much closer to a simple tomato sauce with aglione. Nothing to write home about. The waitress was just straight up nasty, no better word for it. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. There are many other, better places to have a nice meal in Massa Marittima.

Thanks to Google, which allowed us to accidentally discover this restaurant that has won a place in our hearts. Small, really tiny... only when you see it do you truly understand. We dined inside so we could enjoy every little detail. Very thoughtful location, delicious food, and excellent moka coffee to finish. Even the tables in the narrow alley have their own charm. Highly recommended! Reservations are essential, given the limited space.

Don't stop in front of the church of San Cerbone, in a small alley off the main road, just a minute away. This is an excellent traditional Maremma osteria. Friendly staff and well-prepared dishes. The olive oil paired with the cannellini beans is excellent. Fairly priced.

Abbiamo prenotato con largo anticipo in questo piccolo ristorante (appena 3/4 tavoli all'interno in inverno) nel centro di Massa Marittima e ne è valsa davvero la pena. Un menù intrigante e non banale, con qualche proposta del giorno della chef che sa il fatto suo, amando il suo lavoro e conoscendo bene il territorio. Squisiti gli antipasti, sapidi i secondi accompagnati da un buon sangiovese sfuso che non fa lievitare il conto. Si sta bene insomma , coccolati come si conviene e si paga il giusto. Torneremo certamente e lo consigliamo vivamente (e abbiamo pure fatto la rima)....

Una esperienza davvero particolare: il locale è molto piccolo, con dieci coperti, ma estremamente accogliente. Il servizio è eccellente, e la cucina brilla per qualità e cura dei dettagli. In coppia, abbiamo avuto prosciutto di mucca, gnudi ai 24 carati (eccezionali), lo stinco di maiale e uno stufato di carni varie. Degno di nota il caffè. Una serata davvero piacevole.
