La Tana de 'l Ors In Forno di zoldo

I had dinner with my husband, my three children, and our beloved dog. The location was undoubtedly very welcoming and well-maintained, as were the dishes we enjoyed... undoubtedly well-executed and beautifully presented. The wines we chose were very good.... I'll add a couple of "buts" that we didn't like and that in my opinion ruin the good things about this Forno gem... We didn't like the cover charge (€3.50...not exactly cheap for 5 people)...which in my opinion should be abolished in all establishments by 2025...the cost of water (€2) that was served to us in jugs and which I assume was taken from the tap since it's in the mountains...and the very last flaw was the cost of the white pasta dish (€10) that we ordered for the little one..... I'm really sorry because you deserve 5 stars for the whole context.... Furthermore...a few evenings later we stopped for an aperitif...we ordered a platter and we were charged the cover charge...which left us perplexed....

We won't forget our stay in Val di Zoldo and more specifically in Locanda Tana del Ors ! The spacious , fully equipped attic is so beautiful and practical ! Alessandro and Fabricio , we will come back !!!

Can I suggest a Michelin star? Out of this world, all the courses were so good. Highly recommended. The service is extremely fast, extremely courteous. Magnificent!

Excellent relaxing and wonderful food. Ravioli was amazing and very nice wines. This is a relaxing lunch spot, not for anyone in a hurry. Really enjoyed this experience among many others on a drive from Milan to Cortina.

Ci siamo fermati per caso, attirati dalla bella ristrutturazione e dall'interessante ampliamento dell'edificio. Una volta entrati siamo stati accolti dal personale molto gentile e la sorpresa è arrivata col menù, diverso dai "soliti" piatti di montagna, con piatti molto buoni e eseguiti da mani sapienti. Bello l'impiattamento e piacevole l'atmosfera. Il baccalà mantecato è uno dei migliori che abbia mai mangiato, il cervo tenero e saporito, La zuppa di zucca buona e il coniglio strepitoso! Torneremo sicuramente è consiglieremo agli amici!
