Every year I spend two weekends in Santa Caterina and every year I come to eat here!! Everything is delicious!! The staff and owner are wonderful!! Last time I was shocked by the pork and lamb shanks!! AMAZING!! And the pizza is worth it too!!

A good restaurant, I found it to be in line with expectations.
The appetizer platter was excellent, but the venison ragù first course was a little less so (it was a bit disjointed). The pork shank was good.

Something changed this year. We come back every year, and this year the first courses were all bland, undercooked, and the ingredients were disjointed. It's a shame. The pizza, however, was good, and the staff was always friendly.

We took a short vacation to Santa Caterina and while searching for a restaurant, we chose La Tana.
Delicious food.
Very friendly staff, willing to make changes to the menu.
We also returned for a pizzeria.

Opinion of a tourist from Taranto. I stayed for a week, and returned four times. Coming from Puglia and ordering pizza three nights in a row says it all about the pizza chef. The wood-fired ovens are small, yes, but the pizza chef puts his heart and soul into the toppings. I tried three starters, and each met my and my guests' expectations. The owner also has a measured sense of humor that both teases and caresses you. The staff—I call them collaborators—are extremely kind, yet professional in their detailed descriptions, including the origins of the product we're about to order. Compliments also to the chef; I mopped up the pizza after the first course I ordered. And where does all this fit in? In a setting with pillars and wooden beams. Congratulations, if I ever return, I'll be back.

extremely good overall. cured meats were exceptional, all local and fresh. Pizzoccheri were very nicely done and to finish there was a real good pizza with a tasty tomato sauce and fresh porcini mushroom. Very friendly and enjoyable service
