A place where you can eat a pizza worthy of the name, with a beautifully lit projection of the cathedral overhead (we ate outside in the evening). Friendly and fast service. In short, nothing to say except a warm goodbye.

The pizza under the crust was burnt, there were 4 of us and we spent a lot, in my opinion we should never come again, the nice thing is that we ate in the basement.

A restaurant discovered by chance, completely immersed in the rocks. I recommend it for its delicious traditional Lucanian dishes and for the friendliness, kindness, and helpfulness of the staff. The structure, carved entirely out of the rock, is also charming, with meticulous attention to detail.

Neither praise nor infamy... My husband had booked a few days in advance, and when we arrived there was no reservation. This can happen. The place also has an outside area where it says "fantastic view." But in reality, there are much better options around. The quality-price ratio is one of the worst we've seen in Matera. Very expensive, like many places in Matera these days... Paying 20 euros for spaghetti is a real issue.

*Part 2* (August 2025) Two years later, we had Pasta L'Assassina - no... too dry, too hard... unfortunately not... The prices are higher, and I expected the same level, if not better...

Se ci fossero altre cinque stelle le avrei date senza pensarci mezza volta.
In quattro al tavolo entriamo subito in confidenza con lo staff e con il locale stesso.
Locale bellissimo all’interno di un sasso, curato in ogni dettaglio.
Cucina a vista e servizio al top.
Sabatino il Meitre e Isam il cameriere super simpatici, ti mettono a tuo agio e ti fanno sentire letteralmente a casa.
Cibo top e rapporto qualità prezzo apprezzatissimo.
Le due ragazze al servizio simpaticissime e sempre, ripeto sempre, sorridenti, cosa che si vede sempre meno nei locali,
Sorriso ovviamente su tutti i membri dello staff, dalla cassa, alla brigata.
Una bellissima serata.

La comida estaba bien el servicio no lo estaba. tratan a los turistas de manera diferente que los lugareños. nadie vino a vernos. me trajo la cena equivocada y cuando dije algo dijeron que lo pedí? Incluso señalé el plato en el menú. no recomendado
