We are currently here for the cooking class. It's the best thing I've ever experienced.
If you can, do it!
The vegetables grow in your own garden, it couldn't be better. Thanks to Nonno, Renato Antionetta and the entire crew. That was an experience! ♥️♥️♥️

After a long walk along the path of the gods we got to this restaurant. In the street we heard loud music and chatting from the cooking class that was in action. Once we got in and got a table we were served with a day menu. It was fantastic, great food but oh so much. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and easily spent two hours enjoying the food and the view.
Would certainly recommend to eat here. Gluten free options from the appetizers to the desert.

Let me tell you this: there are good dinners, great dinners, and then there is La Tagliata. What did we experience there? A masterful experience that you can rightly place in the “life highlight” category. If we could show a photo of ourselves afterwards - and luckily we have one - you would see a group of people with eyes full of sparkle, bellies full of love, and faces that are both satisfied and slightly desperate from all that divine food.
Because oh, those all-in five courses! It starts off as a charming night out, but halfway through you find yourself in an Italian food competition with no end time. Vegetables from our own garden, fresher than fresh, and a parade of meat, pasta, cheese, and divine dips that will leave you speechless. All served with a smile and a joke by the exceptionally friendly staff, as if you were visiting your favorite Italian family – including a great-uncle who keeps shouting, “Mangia, mangia!”
And then that wine. Not just any wine. Unlimited wine. And before you think this is a student party - no, this is stylish enjoyment. The wine cellar is a dream, a kind of secret cave of Bacchus where you would like to hide with a glass and a candle. And what a view! The Amalfi Coast stretches out before you like a painting that is so beautiful that you think: “Nobody is going to believe this photo.”
And as if the food and the environment weren't enough, we got a private concert of life itself: pleasant music and enthusiastic workshops next to us, with Italians dancing, laughing and shouting as if it were a national holiday. We have not yet participated in a pasta rolling workshop, but it was close.
The animals on the property – chickens, donkeys, maybe even a stray peacock? – give you the feeling that you have ended up in a fairytale farm. Our mascot Billy (long story, think: fish meets mascot meets traveling companion) was also completely in his element. He had a slight wine intoxication, but that shouldn't spoil the fun.
Tip from us: prepare seriously for a food festival. Don't think: “I'll just eat lightly.” No. This is eating like you have to prove to an Italian grandmother that you love her. If you finish it all, you'll be a legend. Real. They should hang your picture on the wall.
And please don't forget to do the vegetable garden and farm tour. There you can taste the soul of La Tagliata: passion, nature, and everything that grows slowly and with love.
Conclusion: La Tagliata is not a restaurant. It is an experience, a celebration, a hug of Italian life itself. We're going back. Crawling if necessary.
Ciao en buon appetito

We came here for lunch at noon. The food was okay—nothing particularly special—except for the pasta dishes, which were genuinely delicious and the highlight of the meal. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views that really set the scene for a great dining experience.
Unfortunately, the atmosphere was completely overshadowed by the noise from the cooking class. Between someone talking loudly into a microphone and music blaring like it’s a nightclub, it was nearly impossible to relax or enjoy the meal. I’m sure the cooking class attendees had a great time, but for those of us just looking for a peaceful lunch, the experience was frustrating and disappointing.
Such a shame, because the location has so much potential. If you’re coming for the food alone, just be aware that the ambiance may not match the view.

Great place. You get 5 courses and unlimited house wine for 60 euro each. Best wine ever. Private shuttle up to and down from the restaurant from and to our hotel in Positano.

Stopped at this place after completing our hike of Path of the Gods. We have a celiac in the group and this place was highly rated for gluten free food so we dropped by. And we are so glad we did!
Upon entering we were given a brief introduction by the waiter of this family restaurant and were told that they do not have a typical menu, but rather a price of €50 euros per person with everything included.
We had a lot of delicious snacks and a bottle of red wine. Then we got the main course of several freshly made pastas, another main course of meat and some fries, but at that point we were already too full so we had to leave some. Finally, we finished with some delicious desserts and limoncello. As for the gluten free part, every course was perfectly made and not just a bad knock-off.
All in all, I would highly recommend stopping by here!

This was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Our bnb host arranged a shuttle to pick us up in Positano. After journeying up the hillside we were greeted by the most hospitable staff. We had our 8 month old baby with us and they treated her like a princess. The appetizers were delicious. The homemade pasta was unreal. And the grilled meats had us wishing our stomachs were twice the size. They topped it all off with a board of sweet deserts and a limoncello chaser. I would recommend anyone staying nearby to make this culinary experience a priority! 10/10
