Puff pizza, very good, they say it's also highly digestible

I've been a loyal customer of this pizzeria for over 13 years: every August, I happily return several times a month, and I've always found excellent pizzas, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. Last night, however, I noticed a bit of a wait both to order and to receive my food. I fully understand that there were many people and few waiters, so this isn't meant as a criticism, but rather as a suggestion: perhaps adding a few more people to the dining room might make the service even smoother. Also, I've always ordered the classic tomato pizza, but this time I wanted to try the one with zucchini cream: the ingredients were excellent, but the cream seemed a bit too salty. That said, I consider this experience an exception to the standards I'm used to, and for this reason, I'm happy to confirm my 5-star rating. I hope this review can help further improve a service I already consider excellent.

Pizza night, definitely the only place for a pleasant and relaxing evening. Outdoor seating is available; reservations are guaranteed, but if you can't, just wait and a few tables will be freed up for you. Classic and specialty beers, excellent service, and a young and friendly staff.

As a writer, I often find myself drawn to places that whisper stories before a word is even spoken. Tonight, staying at a quiet hotel near Lake Garda in Italy, I wandered into a restaurant called Pizzeria Trattoria La Strega. The name alone — “The Witch” — instantly caught my attention. I couldn’t resist. The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated. Hanging on the wall was a massive painting — haunting, beautiful, almost alive. Intrigued, I asked a young woman, graceful and radiant like the evening itself, if the painting had any story behind it. She smiled and told me that the artwork had been “inherited” from an earlier time — a piece of the restaurant’s own mysterious past. Her words intrigued me even more. But then, the moment I opened the menu — I gasped. Not because of the food (though that would come soon), but because the layout felt like opening a magic book. Each section had a poetic, almost enchanted name: - La Salumoteca – the secret laboratory of cured meats - La Cucina – the true magical kitchen - La Pizzeria – spells cast on dough - And the pizzas themselves… oh, they could’ve been characters in a fairytale: - Lacrima (“tear”) – with spicy salami, onions, and Grana - Girasole (“sunflower”) – zucchini and Brie, light yet complex - Manzarina Speciale – almost like a secret formula, with every magical ingredient combined This place is more than a pizzeria — it’s a MAGIC, an experience, a charming collision between flavors and fables. As a foreigner, I can sincerely say: this place is a hidden gem. And — I’ll confess something quietly — I will absolutely include La Strega in my next novel. Exquisite Italian pizza and Tiramisu. Enchanting women. A painting that watches and waits. And if you believe in little secrets — the girl told me, “If you take a photo in front of the witch’s painting, it brings you luck.” I did. p.s. It’s worth noting — a reservation is highly recommended! (it is a Magic place!)

You can eat both inside and out. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Pizza isn't bad. Excellent desserts. Compared to other local pizzerias, it closes later, which is great for us southerners.

Very good pizza, helpful staff, takeaway is a bit too popular, making waiting times longer for table service. The place is very nice, but I would do some good anti-fly and mosquito treatment for the outdoor area.

The interior is very nice, with two floors and outdoor seating. One of the waitresses was very good at explaining the pizza, even explaining a type of pizza that "looks like focaccia," as she described it even though it isn't, and other specialties they have on the menu. My pizza was a peasant pizza with onion, sausage, and lard. The service was a negative, as we had a long wait and other things weren't exactly prompt. In fact...

I am a truck driver and I know the Veneto region very well, but as they say, you never stop discovering new places. I am in Verona with my Family and I decide to spend an evening at a pizzeria. I start to wander around the Internet and I come across this pizzeria. I see quite a few positive reviews and so I decide to TRY IT! Well, what can I say? Few words. But All good. Excellent service with friendly, polite and well-prepared staff. Delicious pizza, the Best I have eaten in the whole of Veneto to date. Very quiet place to spend an evening in complete relaxation. Regular price. I can only say. Highly recommended pizzeria. Congratulations. I will return as soon as I have the chance.
