There are many Gelateria in Florence and most of them are good,some very good and then there are the ones that are outstanding. La Strega Nocciola is on the latter category. The gelato is simply superb and extremely delicious. The most different and perhaps the best flavor to try is the lavender. It is a delicate and unusual flavour that just works so well. If in Florence this is one Gelateria not to be missed.

It is a small place, the ice creams are very creamy and quality.
I ordered salted caramel and pistachio, they have a lot of flavor, it's worth it.

Gelateria next to Piazza del Duomo. The magnificent flavor. We ordered two small ice creams with two flavors each. The price, very good, 6.40 euros for both ice creams. Advisable.

A different and delicious ice cream!
We ordered a small cone that includes two flavors: nocciola and cioccolato. The quality was exceptional: creamy, natural ice cream with an authentic flavor. The nocciola one, in particular, had small pieces of hazelnuts that demonstrated its freshness and artisanal preparation.
Without a doubt, the best ice cream parlor in Trastevere.

Piccolo locale a due passi dal Duomo. Gusti nei cestelli in acciaio, una rarità nella iper turistica offerta commerciale del centro, dove abbondano i locali con montagne di gusti esposti a tutta vetrina, dai colori fantasmagorici, dove frutta e ingredienti naturali sono un autentico miraggio. Assaggiati tre gusti: nocciola, buontalenti e lavanda. Ottimo il primo, molto buono il secondo, discreto, ma non memorabile, il terzo, per il poco intenso aroma. Gelato comunque piacevolmente cremoso. Molto consigliata, prezzi medi e commisurati alla qualità.
