A unique restaurant with delicious local dishes and very reasonable prices. The best part is the self-service system, which is very, very nice! Unfortunately, it was raining and I couldn't enjoy the wonderful terrace, but it doesn't matter because it's very nice inside too.

Just a stone's throw from Assisi, you'll find yourself in a spacious, very unique restaurant. As soon as you arrive, you set your table with tablecloths, plates, glasses, cutlery, bread, and napkins. Immediately afterward, you pick up the menu and choose your food, take a number, wait for them to call you, and go to the cashier to order and pay. Once you're finished, you can quickly head to the first or second course area to pick up your order. The food is good, the prices aren't excessively high, and the atmosphere is spacious and quiet, surrounded by greenery. I'd say it's an experience worth trying.

I remember that restaurant 3 years ago that served people on the first terrace which was beautiful, the staff was helpful and the food was excellent. It was rare to see such a good restaurant. Now you serve yourself, you set the tablecloth yourself, you go get the food yourself which is not as tasty as before.

A famous spot on the slopes of Subasio: La Stalla is always a good place to enjoy authentic Umbrian cuisine. Grilled meats and other local delicacies will fill you up. Generous portions, but wait times are long, especially on weekends. The "do-it-yourself" approach to table setting is fun—it feels like a picnic! 😊

We were staying at the campsite and went there for dinner on our last evening. It was very rustic, delicious, and the service was very friendly. We enjoyed the atmosphere. My husband ordered a grilled piece of pork with braised onions and potatoes, and I ordered tagliatelle mushrooms. It was delicious. It came with a carafe of red wine and mineral water. The food was plentiful, home-style, and therefore very tasty. We received very friendly service. The price was reasonable. Thank you for a lovely last evening.

Come sempre una garanzia...oramai andiamo ad Assisi con il camper da anni sostiamo spesso a Fontemaggio e sosta obbligatoria il ristorante cibo ottimo locale particolare e ben gestito prezzo onesto porzioni abbondanti....un consiglio polenta con funghi,agnello e contorni misti...ci vedremo presto ❤️...non siamo riusciti a fare foto 😂🤣😂
