To get there you have to take the road that passes from Assisi to Mount Subasio if you go by car. If you prefer to go on foot, you can park in Assisi and arrive in half an hour with a walk through the woods.
The restaurant is beautiful and quaint. Worth a spin to see the extreme customizations that have been made. Writings on the walls, dedication icons! The Bracere is wonderful.

Nice place just above Assisi. Many tables available outdoors and indoors. Very good food with large portions. Honest prices.
From the restaurant car park it is possible to reach the center of Assisi with a short 20mi walk through the woods.

We ate there yesterday because we were staying at the campsite next to it.
We couldn't have made a better decision.
Except for the spinach (a matter of taste), the mixed vegetables were a dream, especially the onions.
I had lamb chops, the best I've ever eaten and my friend had the chicken drumsticks.
Great portions and everything freshly grilled.
The dessert, tiramisu, was also very tasty.
If we go to Assisi again, we will definitely stop there again.

The place was recommended to us by friends and it met expectations: excellent food, kind and friendly staff and a very pleasant atmosphere! The dishes are certainly plentiful and the price is honest. After lunch we left the car in the car park and reached the center via the pedestrian street surrounded by greenery. Advised!

Rustic and Spartan place. Professional service, there is usually a bit of a queue. We waited 60 minutes but it was worth it!
Any food is excellent, local products and excellently cooked. Thanks to all the staff for the wonderful dinner!

Mangiato come sempre molto bene, cucina casereccia, focolare sempre pronto, antipasti con il testo che bontà, ma anche solo il testo, le cose semplici sono sempre le più buone, ottimi i primi, ottimo il formaggio in coccio, le patate 🥔 indimenticabili, la carne alla brace, bravi.
