A very good experience to start our stay at the foot of Mount Etna. The pizzas are varied, delicious, and plentiful. A very pleasant atmosphere made for a lovely evening. We will return to try the pasta.

Beautiful evening spent with friends in a welcoming location, excellent pizza, qualified staff, advice on the wine to drink... what can I say, try it and believe it.

Fantastic pizzas in a lovely atmosphere. Make sure you get there early because it is a popular place. Especially many Italian families settle there.

Great place, pizzas made with fresh tomatoes and excellent mozzarella, reasonable prices. The only problem is that if you want to have dinner on Saturday, you have to book well in advance.

My trusted restaurant/pizzeria for a long time now, they make really good pizza, top quality in every way! The owner Gianluca is an exquisite and capable person, together with all his staff they know how to take care of every customer making you feel at home. I highly recommend going to "La Spiga" you will not regret it!

A totally quiet area, hardly anyone in sight, and then you arrive at this restaurant with a large garden and plenty of space, and it seems like half the city is there. Cool. We received a very friendly welcome and were served well. The pizza was delicious and big enough that we didn't order a starter. It looked absolutely delicious to the other guests. I had the best calzone of my life: a thin crust, fresh mushrooms, and very good, juicy ham, cooked to perfection. Thank you for this delicious experience. Highly recommended!

Trattoria Catania Ruffiana

24/06/2025: Happy to have met Catania Ruffiana!!! I highly recommend it. The food is divine!! You will thank me. For refined palates!
28/05/2025: We spent an entire evening there, drinking, laughing and eating food that was so good, that it became our scale to compare other meals in Sicily to it :). The fish, the meats, the salads, the pasta, everything! The staff didn’t speak much English but our Italian was enough to communicate. But when it was too difficult to explain what a meal is, the waiter just told us to wait, went to the kitchen and came back a few minutes later with a plate of meats and other ingredients and showed us which is which, while being so nice and funny, that we wanted to try everything 😂. We did have to wait quite a bit for everything and they did forget a few things (brought them later when we asked) but they had a few big groups and were taking care of everyone so it was understandable. They also did it in such a nice and friendly way that we didn’t mind. Every group spent their entire evening there so it’s not just your typical touristy order-eat-leave in an hour. You go there to spend the evening and trust me, you won’t be disappointed. You will have a great time and eat one of the best meals in your life 👌
