La Spelonca in Giardini Naxos is undoubtedly confirmed as the king of seafood restaurants in the area. Here the cuisine is unmatched, enhanced by a cuisine that respects the raw materials without unnecessary frills. The service? Simply impeccable: trained staff, attentive to every need and capable of making you feel truly pampered. I have already tried almost all the seafood gastronomic proposals in Giardini Naxos, but La Spelonca remains light years away from the competition. It is the type of place where you enter as a customer and leave as a friend, with the certainty of returning whenever I can. For those looking for authentic quality, a welcoming environment and a seafood experience that never disappoints, 5 stars are not enough: it deserves much more!

We ate outside at lunchtime, sheltered from the sun, it was nice and the outside environment was cozy but pleasant. I chose the spaghetti alla spelonca. I found them excellent, abundant and rich in seasoning. The staff was very kind. The homemade semifreddo was a little hard for my taste. I was about to give 5 stars but the unpleasant surprise was the bill. Out of a total of 85 euros, (two adults + a cutlet for the child), we were charged a full 5 euros per person for the service charge. I found it excessive, especially considering the not exactly modest price. Generally recommended, but expensive.

nettes Lokal. Schönes Environment. Essen and Service are gut. Kommen gerne wieder. /nice place. Nice atmosphere. The food and service are good. I would love to come back.

Everything was excellent, I had a really delicious prawn and lemon risotto, I will return to try the other dishes, equally tempting 😋, friendly and attentive staff in looking after customers. I recommend it!!! Top 🔝

We ate here on two evenings during our stay and were very impressed each time. Authentic regional cuisine at fair prices. From the starters to the pizzas and pasta dishes, everything was excellent. Clear recommendation off the classic “tourist trails”

Evening meal outside, in the cool in April. Accepts children but despite having asked you the question we will still seat you outside even though there are free places inside and they will be distributed later to people who have not reserved. I found the value for money was not there: for 50% more expensive than the local restaurants, the pasta a la norma with 4 pieces of eggplant did not have an unforgettable taste, and the pizza revisitata was a little dry. Total with 2 glasses of wine and a bruschetta: €55. Service ok.

Great dinner, food is awesome as much as the atmosphere. Irene and Cristian are just amazing. Thanks guys, we came with our friends from USA and we could not imagine a better experience to give them when in Taormina aerea. Till the next time

We booked a table after a recommendation from a local friend, we found the true Sicilian Atmosphere, an interesting menu with great seafood recipes, pizza with one of the best crust around and a wine list with local and regional wines, all with a good quality per price ratio. The Crudo di Mare appetizer, Spaghetti alla Carrettiera con pomodoro datterino and the Mixed Seafood grill all deserve a special mentions, as well as Irene’s warmest welcome and Chef Cristian’s passion. We’ll be back !!
