29/03/2025: This evening I would like to speak out in favor of this place with a "rustic feel". I have read some exaggeratedly negative reviews which do not correspond to the experience I had today at lunch. I suspect that they are reviews born from a sort of "unfair competition". I will try to explain myself, I am a restaurateur in a locality and my business has few customers compared to another, what do I do? I throw mud at those who are more successful than me. This is obviously my impression, I say this because today I went to this place for lunch with my family and I must say, in all honesty, that it does not even remotely reflect any of the negative reviews I have read.
The service carried out masterfully by Barbara the owner, her daughters Cristina and Gloria with Michael have abundantly passed every test, demonstrating high professionalism, kindness and savoir-faire in recommending dishes and serving them with tact and discretion.
What can we say about the dinner, which was impeccable from all points of view. Mr. Pietro demonstrated his culinary skills in a sublime way, presenting simple but extremely delicious dishes, "tingling our taste buds" with the traditional cuisine of Tuscia.
This is why I wonder: is it possible that Mr. When Pietro cooks, does he do "double standards"? When an artist is one, and he is one, he always has the same modus operandi.
The five stars given by an experienced Google Locale Guide, which is anything but generous, will soon be revealed.
To celebrate my wife's birthday, where to go if not back to Ballaccia, if I leave Rome to get to S. Martino, will there be a reason? It's easy to say, it has never disappointed me and even today it was a riot of olfactory and taste sensations, as always they proved to be up to the task, in cooking and in welcoming, here they make you feel like one of the family from the first moment. This time too I can only recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly
19/03/2025: Nice place, friendly and attentive staff, excellent local dishes, the inevitable chickpea and chestnut soup, meat and porcini mushrooms. Reservation is a must. Must try
