The quality and freshness of the food there is always top-notch. I can only find the pasta with mauro seaweed and limpets here, and it's exceptional and unique. Not to mention the raw fish and everything else. Whenever I'm in the area, I never miss dinner here.

Yesterday, for Valentine's Day, my husband and I didn't want to risk stumbling upon any restaurants advertising "fabulous" menus. We played it safe: for the excellent quality, the impeccable service, and the courtesy of the staff. La Solitaria Restaurant. I highly recommend it.

We ate there on December 30, 2025, on the recommendation of a friend. It was a positive experience. Excellent food, excellent service, and a location with attention to detail. Highly recommended.

18/02/2026: Our daughter lives in Trecastagni so we visit often and frequently grab pizza and arancini from here. The wait can be a little long sometimes but that's really a testament to how good the food is.

15/03/2026: I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a great time. The atmosphere was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The French veal burger and the bouef au bourgognon were delicious. Service was quick, and the dishes were well-presented. Prices were average. Overall, I'll definitely return to try other dishes. One last thing that was very important to me was that there was no background noise despite the restaurant being full. The tables were well-spaced and there was no background music, so we could chat peacefully at the table without any difficulty. If you plan to go on a Saturday, I recommend booking a few days in advance. They only book the first 8:00 PM slot, and after that, it's on a first-come, first-served basis.
14/03/2026: Meat, pizzas, sandwiches. Nothing typically Catanian or Sicilian. Sure, something a little out of the ordinary is fine; but it felt more like a pub/steakhouse than a Catanian restaurant. Pleasant, youthful atmosphere; good service; medium-high prices.
