We went to lunch today at this restaurant, terrible experience... we sit down at 1:30 pm after a modest wait we order 3 appetizers and 3 first courses they arrive after half an hour I would say normal good but nothing exceptional after about an hour we ask about the first courses they tell us they are in progress another 3 quarters of an hour pass and the first course arrives after a while the second but dulci simfundo the third never arrived in fact twice the wrong dishes arrived at that point we got up (it was already 4:00 pm) we went to pay without apologies and without a price reduction for the shameful inconvenience.... Highly recommended...

Very fresh fish, brought to the table for choosing (the sea cicada was still alive). Delicious appetizers, superlative first courses and a stellar fresh roast fish. Welcomed with extreme kindness, beautiful environment, ample parking possibilities. Compliments!

We celebrated my daughter's baptism, recommended by relatives who had eaten very well! Never was a better choice! Excellent dishes, very fresh fish, attention to quality and detail. Courteous, prompt, kind and friendly staff! I didn't find a flaw!

Sono stato in questo ristorante per il pranzo aziendale e c'è ben poco da dire: tutto molto abbondante e davvero buono,ma i maccheroni con spada e melanzane erano strabilianti Tornerò sicuramente.

Trattoria Saltimbocca da Giancarlo

14/05/2025: Excellent experience to be repeated absolutely. I came across the Trattoria Saltimbocca recommended by friends. The first thing that struck me was the attention of the waiters and the owner (unfortunately not common in Catania); the fish was all very fresh and cooked to perfection and Mr. Giancarlo was always present in the room, attentive to each table and happy to give you directions on the menu. The last pleasant surprise was the bill, definitely lower than the average for the city. I recommend everyone to try it and I intend to return as soon as possible
09/05/2025: Very good restaurant, a bit far from the city center of Catania, seafood specialties! Very pleasant service! Little extra: their cheesecake is really delicious! 😋
