The experience was less than decent. The place has a small staff, so the wait is long and the waitress, who has to cover many tables alone, doesn't pay much attention to the customer. The portions are quite small, and the bread is mediocre. I'll be back for drinks, but I don't think I'll eat.

I chose the place based on the opinions about the food and I was not disappointed. The food was tasty, well prepared, at such a level that you can easily go back and eat there again. Clean, tidy, completely normal, the interior is not scary and does not overwhelm. It is completely OK, it is worth visiting and eating something tasty. Pistachio cake - really good.

We had dinner at Osteria La Sofia, and the food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish we tried was excellent, and it ended up being one of the best meals we had during our stay in Padua. Special mention to the baccalà mantecato, which was excellent.
That said, the service left quite a bit to be desired. There was only one waiter trying to manage the entire dining room, rushing around to serve all the customers. On several occasions, we asked for things that never arrived.
While we completely understand the situation given the volume of work, it did take away from what could have been a truly exceptional experience. Nevertheless, we’d absolutely come back and would still recommend it, just come with a bit of patience!

The place may not have a particularly atmospheric atmosphere, the restaurant is quite small. The food is very tasty. Interesting flavors, everything well seasoned. Very good wine for 21 euros a bottle. Large portions. Prices quite high. Delicious pistachio cake.

Very nice place and friendly staff. Essential and refined menu. The dishes I tried were very good and portions were more than honest. Very fair price. If I return to Padua you will definitely see me again!
