During a two-day trip to Turin with friends, we discovered the Carbonari restaurant in San Salvario, near the city center.
A very pleasant place with limited seating. The staff is young, but very attentive and friendly.
We decided to try some typical Piedmontese dishes, which, with a few reinterpretations, enhance the flavor even more.
Recommended!

I can only praise this restaurant, where I ate two nights ago. It's located in the San Salvario neighborhood, between Porta Nuova station and Valentino Park. It's a welcoming place, with just the right number of seats, elegant yet modern.
At this restaurant, you can enjoy typical Piedmontese specialties.
I had a pumpkin appetizer (light but very pleasant), followed by the famous agnolotti del Plin, truly delicious. To finish, a pumpkin tart accompanied by a chestnut mousse. A bottle of still water was also included. I spent around €30, a fair price for the quality of the products. The staff was friendly and cheerful.
Highly recommended!

A friend had advised to go Here so finally we did. Food was very creatively presented and all dishes tasted very good. I had venison with polenta, and chocolate/caramel dessert. Good local wine brought it all together. Lovely service by good looking waiter :)

Nice place, lovely ambiance, and a lovely, convivial atmosphere. Christmas dinner with friends, booked more than a month in advance. We sat at a small table amidst the busy staff, so we bumped into each other constantly.
Regarding the meal, none of the four of us were particularly satisfied: I ordered artichoke pasta with fondue, which tasted only of cheese, and for my main course, a cauliflower fillet with red cabbage. The fillet was good, but the red cabbage was so thick it was almost impossible to eat.
We spent €45 each, which, as far as we're concerned, is too much for what we found. A shame. However, we appreciate the restaurant's choice to offer a wide and varied vegetarian and vegan menu.
I'm sorry, but we won't be returning.

Welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, good food but nothing special, €18 for 1/2 liter of loose Dolcetto, in my opinion excessive.

A family-friendly and informal atmosphere, the first thing you notice is the chalkboard listing the menu. The staff is exquisitely friendly, always smiling. The portions are just right, not overwhelming, a perfect balance of quality and quantity for a revisited Piedmontese cuisine. The quality-price ratio is fair. If I lived in Turin, I'd return!

Superlative experience. Friendly, helpful, and professional staff. It's hard to find a place these days where you're greeted with a smile and your every request is fulfilled. Every choice was professionally supported with simple explanations and well-advised. Excellent wine list, and the menu, though not overly varied, was well-crafted. Well done! 👏
