Super, delicious pizza. It starts to get really busy around 8:30 PM, but if you arrive early, you don't need a reservation. There are about 30-40 seats outside, but they were quickly taken by groups of people.

Very friendly staff. Delicious food. We had leftovers to take home with us. Pleasant and easy experience. Would gladly visit again.

Very good pizza, very crowded and noisy. Two pizzas and one still and one sparkling water... 42 euros seems expensive to me!

I think the quality of the pizza has gone down compared to two years ago... The person taking the orders looks like they want to go home and relax on the couch and is doing you a favor by taking the order. Also, he repeatedly reprimanded some kids who were speaking in a slightly higher tone than normal, while he didn't say anything to the people at the adjacent tables who were giggling and making a lot more noise. It's easy to pick on kids.... I'll add another annoying thing: you can't ask me if you can take away the plate when you've already put your fingers in to pick it up, nah. Oh, I forgot, I've been going to Smorfia since 2015.

Very friendly welcome. Good food. Little attention for the children. Good value for money.

La Smorfia, Modena: Delicious Pizza with Mixed Feelings Our visit to the La Smorfia restaurant in Modena left us with mixed feelings. There were some bright spots in the culinary department, but the service unfortunately significantly tarnished the overall experience. The restaurant's decor was fine, but nothing special or noteworthy—functional, but lacking any particular charm. The starter, a seafood salad, was okay, but not a highlight. It served its purpose, but didn't really excite or leave a lasting impression. La Smorfia's true flagship seems to be its Napolitana-style pizzas. These were very tasty, with a wonderfully topped and flavorful top. The base was perhaps a little too soft, but that's nitpicking at a high level and doesn't detract from the overall positive impression of the pizza. Unfortunately, the good food was overshadowed by the very impatient and unfriendly service. It was clearly noticeable that the staff was trying to pressure us into ordering quickly. This suggests that the tables are obviously intended to be booked multiple times per evening, which led to a rushed feeling. Unfortunately, this pressure didn't create a sense of well-being. Conclusion: If you're looking for a truly good Napoli-style pizza and can overlook impatient service, La Smorfia is a good option. However, if a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere is a priority, there are certainly better options in Modena. Overall, we had a good meal, but the lack of a feel-good factor left a bitter aftertaste.

Nonostante Modena sia recentemente invasa di pizzerie, che ad ogni angolo proclamano di essere vere pizzerie napoletane… senza ombra dubbio è la Smorfia la migliore pizzeria che potete trovare qui in centro. La pizza è eccellente ed estremamente digeribile! Prodotti squisiti e freschi. Dolci tutti da provare! Le ho provate tutte, ma La Smorfia è insuperabile.

Esperienza positiva, un comodo locale in centro, ci sono stato per una pizza d'asporto ad inizio estate 2024. Servizio veloce e pizza molto buona.
