La Siesta In Piacenza

If you're passing through Piacenza in Emilia-Romagna (Italy), stop by this unpretentious little restaurant... The dishes are delicious, with high-quality meats and reasonable prices. This place became our go-to restaurant during our stay! The tortelli burra e salvia (typical local pasta in sage butter) will melt in your mouth...

Due to a series of incredible misfortunes that had nothing to do with the place, I ended up having lunch at “La Siesta” And this was the real luck, the food is excellent and the guys are all young, good, friendly and nice. Everyone with their own task, fast. Some take orders, some clear the table, some follow the drinks. Really very well organized. I tried the “scionfetti” or baked gnocco. Which is pizza dough cooked in the oven and a very good giardiniera without tomato paired with the typical Piacenza cold cuts. In addition to this we took a menu of the day that included a first course, a second course and a side dish. At lunch they also do pizza service and we tried a good pizza margherita. The prices for all this were really very limited What can I say… stop in Piacenza south and in the Montale area you will find a large, spacious place with air conditioning. When it is 33 degrees outside, you can enjoy a splendid Siesta

I have been to this pizzeria several times and it is always a pleasure to return. Excellent pizza, light and easily digestible. Always friendly and smiling staff. 5 stars deserved!

Vado spesso in questo ristorante a pranzo , menù fisso a 16 euro ,sia per il primo che per il secondo c'è sempre un opzione a base di pesce. Si mangia discretamente, ma devo dare il massimo punteggio al.personale , gentile e veloce. Soprattutto il cameriere magro con la barba e la ragazza alla cassa (quella rasata con il cappellino) sono veramente gentili ! Questo fa guadagnare dei punti .

Sono stato in questo locale in pausa pranzo sala da pranzo molto grande e molto affollata ma con un servizio veloce non si fa fatica a trovare un posto. Si può scegliere tra una pizza molto buona ma purtroppo sottile e a me piace più alta oppure un menù del giorno ad un ottimo prezzo.

Large room with well-spaced tables. The food is good and for me the pizzas are excellent, especially those with deep dough "the TOP". The service is always done kindly and quickly. 👍
