I returned to this pastry shop after several years. Unfortunately, the prices have gone up, but not the quality. Even the Sicilian cannoli, which used to be a guarantee, no longer live up to the pastry shop's history. The atmosphere is apathetic and distant. A real shame.

The granita and pastries are delicious. But I recommend asking fellow Catanians whether the brioche is fresh or not; anyone born and raised in Sicily knows what it should be like.

The quality of the desserts is fantastic. The brioches are excellent, my favorites are the Venetian one with cream, but also the Volcano with ricotta... Each one better than the last. And what can I say about the panettone baked in a glass jar? When you open it, it seems so soft and freshly baked... The pastry chef I met today was really nice. Highly recommended.

What can I say? On December 24th, without a reservation, I went in the afternoon and bought a cassata, among the many still available... truly TOP, one of the best cassatas I've bought in Milan. I took advantage of the opportunity to also buy one of their artisanal panettoni, and that was also top-notch. Next time, I'll focus on the savory delicacies.

It's definitely a benchmark for Sicilian pastry making in Milan. What's a bit unsatisfactory, in my opinion, is the staff's lack of friendliness. However, the products are excellent and the deli food is excellent.

I ordered about ten Sicilian cannoli, a cassata cake, and a variety of pastries.
I've never had such good cannoli, and the cake is the same.
I'm giving it 5 stars simply because there's no way I could give it more.

Wide selection of croissants, all excellent. I had a very good Veneziana and an excellent coffee. Prices are a bit higher than average, but honestly, I can't complain about the quantity and quality. I was a bit perplexed that, even though I was alone at the counter, they made me pay before receiving the croissant, placing it behind the counter, and then handing it to me only after I had paid by debit card. Honestly, something like this has never happened to me before, and in my opinion, it creates a certain distance and lack of empathy between the manager and the customer.
