La Selvetella Agriturismo In Caiazzo

I went there on Saturday for lunch for a birthday. The place was very quiet, and the staff and owners were very friendly. We sat outside. There's a large play area for children (under parental supervision). The terrain is steep, with large rocks and roots sticking out of the grass. There are several wooden benches where you can rest and enjoy the view... you can actually see the San Leucio Castle in the distance. There's a hammock that needs some work, but it's comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, as is the dining room, both accessible to people with mobility impairments. The path to the dining room is paved with small stones, so don't go in high heels. We started with various delicious appetizers, all freshly made. Our first course was a choice of paccheri with eggplant and salted ricotta or strozzapreti with ragù (both good). Then there was the meat trio (sausage a little overcooked, tracchia, and mini hamburger, both good. Water and house wine, and dessert: apple pie, really good, and the deconstructed cannoli, good. The only downside is the road to get there...the last 400 meters are to be covered at a walking pace if you don't want to damage your car.

A quaint place, with attention to detail. The owners were welcoming and very accommodating to our requests. We had a lovely day and ate well! I highly recommend it.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at this agriturismo on Women's Day with my family. We were very satisfied: the food was excellent, the setting was surrounded by greenery, and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back.

A truly lovely agriturismo with a welcoming dining room and friendly staff, eager to make us feel at home. They immediately proved to be kind and patient, right from the moment we booked, when they accommodated my request to know what animals we might see. The cuisine was excellent, with dishes prepared with ingredients that immediately tasted fresh and homemade. Each course tasted like the meticulously prepared ingredients typical of a fine agriturismo. Special mention also for the wine and amaro. Excellent. And finally, extra stars for the help we received when, ingeniously, we ignored the directions on the way back and ended up stuck in a mudflat. We called for advice on what to do, and they even came to get us out in a 4x4. Highly recommended.

We had dinner on February 14th (Valentine's Day). The atmosphere was relaxing, and the dishes were refined and flavorful. A must-try.

We were there this morning (new management). The place is beautiful, surrounded by greenery. Outside, there are carousels, ducks, and bunnies. It's really nice, especially if you have small children! The place is warm and welcoming. The food was excellent. The hospitality and friendliness are absolute. We'll come back often! 😍

A beautiful farmhouse where you can eat truly well and spend a lovely day with your family, surrounded by greenery, animals, and games for children. Highly recommended for any occasion. Very good value for money.
