Good food, definitely not a "quiet" place. The staff is fast (perhaps too fast). Dinner for two was served in less than an hour. A fish starter, fried fish, chips, water, wine, and dessert cost €50 per person. It may be a bit pricey, but it's average for the area.

We had dinner for our wedding anniversary, ordering a mixed appetizer with octopus, cuttlefish, and mussels, two first courses: paccheri with red shrimp, trofie with mixed seafood (clams, shrimp, and mussels), and finally a mixed fried fish dish. We also had a scialatiello pasta with fresh tomato sauce for our child. Everything was fresh and delicious, from start to finish. We highly recommend the panna cotta with figs for dessert. Simple and pleasant restaurant/bar refreshment on the splendid sea of ​​Marina di Ascea. A more than informal and simple place as well as the service and the furnishings. It is right on the free beach of the Scogliera area. You can bathe equipped with a personal umbrella and free beach (or rent one on site with sunbeds). If you want you can enjoy breakfast or brunch at lunchtime (or aperitif) on the outdoor tables equipped with the restaurant. Typical Cilento foods: freselle with cherry tomatoes and tuna, bruschetta with cherry tomatoes. The restaurant serves fresh fish cooked to perfection with simple and tasty recipes for romantic or gourmet dinners. Prices in the medium-high range of the place, not cheap... but the quality of the food is excellent and the scenery is dreamlike. Recommended

A restaurant located in one of the most beautiful places on the Cilento coast. It takes its name from the cliff that characterizes the stretch of sea that can be seen from its tables. Excellent food, fresh, well prepared and served, based on fish. For lovers of the genre, it is an experience to try and try again. There is no need to go on... Try it

Premetto che vivo in Toscana e sono stato ad Ascea per motivi familiari. Avevo voglia di mangiare delle alici fritte e mi sono rivolto ad un amico non sapendo dove andare anche perché, dato il periodo, molti locali sono chiusi. Egli conoscendo il titolare della Scogliera l'ha chiamato per sapere se ci fosse la disponibilità delle alici. Avendo avuto risposta affermativa mi ha fatto la prenotazione. Location bella, qualità del cibo buona ma ahimè prezzo davvero esagerato. Antipasto di alici arrostite 12 in tutto, frittura di alici (16/18), 1/4 di vino alla spina e una bottiglia d'acqua € 60. Le stesse pietanze con calice di vernaccia o vermentino a Forte dei Marmi molto meno. Nulla da dire sulla qualità ma prezzo esagerato. La mentalità di molti ristoratori cilentani non è cambiata dagli anni 70, il loro motto era "fottitene di quello che dicono tanto a questo lo hai visto ora e non lo vedrai più l'essenziale è che ha pagato"...

Siamo stati a pranzo in questo Ristorante sul mare ed è stata una ottima scelta. Atmosfera marina, cibo ottimo, il titolare Gaetano gentilissimo... Una bella esperienza da rifare e consigliare. Prezzo buono.
