After 6 full restaurants or with reserved tables that were unable to accommodate us, we ended up finding this restaurant just before arriving at the car. Happy surprise 😁
The setting is very nice in an interior courtyard, it's lively but not too much, the service is very friendly, we ate very well for the price

Practically perfect dinner: the raw seafood (primarily purple shrimp) is absolutely worth trying. Impeccable service, all enhanced by the garden. Very honest price for what we ate.

We had dinner at La Scarletta after visiting a couple of places in the top 10 in Lecce. The best for food, service and location. Splendid garden, it's a shame that part of it is ruined by a plexiglass cover. Online booking works, super Argentinian waiter, bill commensurate with what you ate (fish dinner). We will be back

We come every year on holiday to Salento and La Scarpetta Hostaria is a fixed stop. The location is magnificent, the atmosphere is relaxing and Marta, at reception, knows how to put you in a good mood before even sitting down at the table. The menu features masterfully cooked land and sea dishes, a true pleasure for the palate and the eyes. I highly recommend spending an evening there if you really want to enjoy the most authentic beauty of Lecce and the true goodness of this land.

Il locale è situato a pochi passi dalla storica Porta Napoli e nel centro storico di Lecce. Gli ambienti sono ampi e luminosi, ma l'atmosfera è decisamente pretenziosa e molto fake, i camerieri molesti o al contrario assolutamente disinteressati, le proposte del menu sono modeste e la cucina disgraziatamente senza infamia e senza lode, più adeguata ad affollate feste di cresima o matrimonio che per palati esigenti. Non possiamo dire di aver mangiato davvero male, ma neanche bene, per cui non ci ritorneremo.

Bonne cuisine pour une friture de la mer et des pâtes aux langoustines. Très goûteux. Bien préparé. Décor agréable, service un peu expéditif.
