This is a real gem, just steps from Porta a Prato. They serve both meat and fish and have created four different, very affordable menus. We tried the grill menu for €37 per person, which included Pici with Chianina ragù, a huge mixed grill, and a bottle of Morellino di Scansano (for two). We also tried the fish menu for €40 per person. They serve a plate of spaghetti allo scoglio, sea bream all'isolana with baked potatoes, and a bottle of Falanghina. Both menus include water and coffee with a cover charge. The dishes were very generous and truly delicious. We highly recommend it.

Not bad, especially the very professional service. Generally, the cost in Florence is a good 30% higher than in the rest of central Italy, so the bill is average.

13/03/2026: I was a little skeptical at first, seeing some of the reviews, but then I tried it and realized it's truly excellent! I've been three times in a row to try different dishes, and I can't tell you which ones to recommend, since each one was better than the last! As a true Florentine, be wary of anyone who says otherwise... Highly recommended.
